Last summer was a "no dogs in the pool" summer so I don't really know if Bull like to swim I'll try him in the river when it warms up.

I voted "it's Okay" because we only had a half dozen opportunities to introduce Malone to water this past summer. Every time he seemed a little more interested, so I am hoping that next summer he will be full grown and learn to *love* it. *hope hope* :D

Most of our dogs do not like baths, so I voted "Won't put my paw in it"

Yes, Jo loves swimming! She goes a lot in the summer. Zeke has only been to the beach once, so he's not to sure about it yet

Cisco absolutely hates the water. In fact, when we go for a walk he will go clear out around a house runing the sprinkler or he will go clear around a puddle. He doesn't even like walking after it has rained. I give him a bath in the shower with me only thru bribury(sp?) of a treat.

We walk with 9 dogs, you can't see them all here. We have 2, and 1 of them swims, in the summer! Several of the other dogs swim year round.

voted for "wont put my paw in it" - Mocha dislikes water so much...but it doesn't mean I'm going to stop taking her to beach! Sometimes I tried to train her to like the water....like trying to have her focus on the stick or a ball of wet sand (because she loves to chase them)..so I throw it TO the shoreline....*Mocha ran...until to the shoreline....'Arf! Nice try, Gina! I ain't gonna touch this water with my dry paw!' and ran back to me, expect more for sands/sticks! Nah, it doesn't work! *arghh!* I always wish she loves water because I love to SWIM!

She'll be grumpy alll night when I took her to the 'hose-land' in backyard for a bath then next morning in my bed...she'll say *liiick, liiick, "Thank you, Gina!" & liiick!*... I knew it...dogs are always so forgiven, no talk backs :)

Leiloo is a lab mix and true to the breed she LOVES the water!!:D I am currently on a waiting list for a Great Dane and am hoping I can get him to love the water as well.

Chewy isn't a water dog. But he is the kind of dog that when he gets attached to you, he will fallow you till the end of the earth. So when I go in the water Chewy has to coem to protect me from those evil rocks :rolleyes: Teddy NO, when he walks ouside and there is mud he holds his tail up real high and he tip toes, lol its so funny. Honey, no one knows :rolleyes:

i don't know yet because first - we don't have a pool, second - its winter. :rolleyes: but when we gave him a bath, he didn't seem to mind the water. i don't think he would be good for swimming though. all the tangles in his fur! :eek:

I voted "won't put my paw in it". Angus just despises water & tries his best not to get wet.
Roxey doesn't like to swim but will put her whole head (up to her eyebrows:eek: ) in big water bowl we have outside.
I'm not sure about Huney yet, she doesn't mind sleeping in the the rain though:)

Ruby loves the beach. She loves to run in the water and chase the seagulls. However, she hates getting her face wet. So, if you throw her toy in the water there is no way she'll stick her nose in the water to pick it up. We've tried a couple times and she just gives us this look like "you gotta be kidding me".

isabell got thrown in the pool by my brother and now she hates it!!!! i have to hold her down for a bath >>>> but my mom said she cant get in the pool so i guess thats for the best cuz she mite jump in when im not there and not be able to get out and… well i dont want to think about that

I am Petna except I changed my name to RubyB because she just died so it's like a little tribute to her. The 10 month old pup loved water and when I found her dead she water on her lips !

My sister's RB-dog Ringo loved to swim !! He rushed to the shore as soon as they let his leash of ! He always came back with pieces of wood and wanted to play fetch!! Love doggies !!

My Cocker, Jesse hates the water! She would rather die then touch any water, unless she was drinking it.
My brother's Pit Bull, Hadey would swim anytime she got near any water! She even jumped into a pool in the middle of winter! Needless to say, she was COLD when they pulled her out!!!

We like it so much Dad triez to take us at least wunce a week durrin da warm weathur. Did notice da waddur wuz a lil on da *chillie side* tuday, but da SunBall wuz out an we had a gud Tyme.

My girls are so jealous you gotts to go swimming today Cinfder and Smoke!! They haven't been since last year and they love it!!! I set up the little pool in the back yard and Sadie is in her glory!! She love sto be wet!! She'll lay down and put her head under the water.

last year I took them to a friends house to a big pond to swim and they loved that too!! They are hoping to to get invited again this year!!

Don't know yetm what the Spotty-boy thinks!

Cute pics of Sadie and Cincy!!! They look like they just LOVE the water!!!!
Abbey is terrified of the bath, to the point where if she comes in the bathroom and I touch the shower curtain, she runs away. Kito is a little priss, but when we were at my parent's, we took a walk in the woods and he found a stream with a spring, and went right into it to get a drink.
And Riley gets into the shower with me all the time--he tries to jump in the tub when I take a bath too!! I think he will be our swimmer!!
If it ever warms up enough,we want to take them and see who will get in and swim!!!
