Kimmy,

Thanks for the link. A very interesting article !!! I loved
reading the part where they say,

"Domestic dogs follow humans like a laser and watch the behavior of their humans with a focus that is astounding," said McConnell, a professor at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.

Dogs do "see the whole picture" when they observe our
behavior. We don't have to say a word, they're able to pick
up on body language & tone of voice (not specific words) to
form an opinion on what's going on around them. Thanks
again for posting the link. I really enjoyed it.

P.S. Zam is a gorgeous kitty , really like the newer sig. pics.
Great pics of both your furry kids.:)

I also thought the "related link" article was fascinating - I didn't realize how little scientists had studied the canines. How ignorant. I would think that considering the bond between dogs and cats to humans, that would make them all the more interesting to study. And not exclusively the "wolf in every dog" and "tiger in every cat" or cultural anthropology approach, either. They are unique beings who have gifted us with their companionship.
