I dont think this has been posted before now...saw it on yahoo today. This is sad but shows the loyalty of a dog. He has been staying at cemetary on or near grave ever since his master died six years ago. People who work there feed him.

It really is amazing how deep a connection that our dogs can have with us. They never forget & they never fail to show us love & devotion.

I did run across another article about other dogs who remember their people.

lizbud, I just read your post and link about loyal dogs. I have tears in my eyes. The first dog mentioned is Captain; he's the one I posted. However, I had not heard of all those other dogs--so sad for them.

I read all the other stories about the other dogs and it's something I won't forget for a long time. Need a huge box of kleenex on your desk to read and watch all of these. This kind of loyalty is almost too much to bear, just so sad. Amazing the love our dogs have for us, I hope we can all return that love in kind.
