Hi Everybody!

I went to PetSmart tonight to buy cat food and came across these cool X-Mas wear for small dogs/cats, etc. I figured I'd try my hand at taking a "holiday" picture with one of the cats dressed up. To say they weren't the least impressed is putting it mildly by the looks on their faces. Care to come up with any captions??? :D :D :D

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY "MOO" YEAR EVERYONE!!! After the 4th cat, they all sorta scattered and hid. Gee, I wonder why??   I guess I'll leave the picture taking to PetSmart ;) . Can't say I didn't try.

They don't look very happy about it at all!!!

Nope, they weren't. BTW, the Santa hat was for a small dog.   Yeah, right...the size of a pot bellied pig maybe. They were "wearing" the hat providing they didn't move their heads.

Hahaha....good, sometimes our cats need to be cut down to size!

I CANNOT get a collar on Boo. Any tips??

Too funny!! I can't put anything with a bell on my kitty, it drives him NUTS. I like the "jester" kind of costume juxtaposed with some decidedly un-jolly expressions:p

They have "breakaway collars" that are held together with little elastic rings. The collars are very light and your cat won't know it's on. If the collar should catch on something, the cat won't be stuck, hence the "breakaway" name.

Other than that, I can't think of any tips as my cats refuse to wear them and they're indoors anyway. In the 9 years I've had my cats, none of them have ever escaped. Besides, my door leads to a steep stairway with another door.

Hee, hee, hee. I'm laughing too hard at their expressions to come up with good captions. Wait till I calm down...

Funny how they can look so cute yet so angry at the same time.

I second Uabassoon's comment: so cute yet angry!

Drake used to put up a fight when I tried to dress him up. He wouldn't even wear a sweater! He is more tolerant now. He does draw a line at Holiday garb! Sweaters is the only thing he will wear :D

I don't know, they all look PRETTY angry with you.

I cannot put anything on Rascal. When he was allowed out of doors he lost two collars - all in the same day!

I haven't tried a "crown" though - that he would probably feel he deserves!

Your pictures are still wonderful!

Eli is great! He's still a little shy but is slowly coming around. He goes to the vet next week for his distemper booster. I hope I can find someone to neuter him cheap. He's still young yet so he's got a while to go.

Any kitty sightings lately?? How's Zam doing?

Saw the orange and white kitten last night. He's gotten BIG! He ran when he saw me.

No sign of the other black and white kitten since Nov. 8th. :(

Zam is becoming more vocal and even more affectionate as the days go by. She knows the sound of the pop top from a can of food and comes running instantly.

She tried re arranging my lamp at 4 a.m.

I use to dress up Max all the time. He loved it!! For 1 halloween (before I got a camera) I made him a devils outfit. His face was covered, u could only see his eyes & the tip of his nose. I had his ears covered in material so it was cool when he moved his eats around. I had a devils tail on him (u couldn't see his tail at all, but is was sooo cute when he was waging his tail.) I even gave him sleves that went to his elboes to he could walk ok... it was awesome!!!

Now for winter he has to wear botties & a coat, its to keep his aurites from causing pain...

But he jets so excited when u put his booties on, he jumping & running all around & barks for no reason (something Max normally doesn't do, barking that is)
