Just for fun! :) If your dog just over 50 lbs you would choose 50-70 lbs not 40-50 lbs. It is multiple choice so you can choose different options for each dog you have.

And here's my other curiosity poll: Nebo the siberian husky is 6 months old and weighs 40 lbs. He's only gained 5 lbs in 3 months. How much do you think he will weigh when he is full grown? I think the breed standard is about 45-60 lbs.

We'll have to wait a while to see who was correct, lol. :D

Oh...I already said that Nebo was 40 lbs....Smokey is about 9 lbs, and Reggie is about 28 lbs. He's gained 8 lbs since he was neutered! :eek:

Bobs breed standard is 49-52lbs and he was 50lb at last weigh in, which was a while ago. I think he may be a little more now though.

Panther - I think 38kg is around 76lbs, not sure though, I still haven`t got the hang of the metric stuff, even though its been around for a while now here in the UK!

Smudge weighed just over 40lbs when I had him at the vet the last time if I remember correctly it was 41.8 or maybe 43.8...a lot better for his little frame then the almost fifty though, he can still lose a little.

Winter weighed 28.8lbs I think in August when her hips were x-rayed and I'm fairly certain she hasn't put on much if any weight in that time. Which is good, to much weight is bad for her knee, and well I would be picked on till I did something about it (crazy agility people :D )

Okay, this is weird. I saw this poll yesterday and thought that I'd go home and ask my husband what he thought the girls weighed at this point. Well, as soon as I walked in, he told me that he had just weighed the girls and that Dakota (our almost 6 month old Dane) weighed in at about 80 pounds and Destiny (our almost 9 month old Dalmation) weighed in at about 40 pounds! How weird was that, I hadn't even mentioned the thread to him yet!

Juneau is only 49 lbs! he weighed 46 when we liberated him from Doggie prison lol. He is not that big but he is a very slim dog. He eats okay tho. He's seen the vet like three times since we got him, and is healthy otherwise

Duncan weighed 87 lbs at his last visit and I'm sure he will be staying right around there. He looks much bigger but he's so lean.
The vet was even surprised...she said she put him on the scale and expected him to be about 120!!!

28 lbs? How in the world?? Nebo is 40, he looks smaller then Huney....and he doesn't look nearly as big as Roxey....I'm not sure if Reggie is quite 28 lbs, but he's definitely at least 25 lbs...

And Juneau is only 49 lbs? My friend's german shorthair, Lady, is 55 lbs and he looks a lot bigger then her!

You know what... I always think this kind of stuff, too, about Smokey. I think because I see him every day I don't realize how big he has gotten.
One day a few months back I caught a glimpse of him out of the corner of my eye and thought, "Wow! He's getting way taller and thicker." And I know he has to be even more so now.
Out on our walk today someone really thought I was lying when I said he was only 9 months old. And these dudes outside this pool hall were in love with him and kept saying "He's got a big ol' head. He's gonna be a big boy..." But I just don't see it. He's still just my lil' Smokey. :D
Oh and some lady said he was blessed with the best markings ever. Ah, I love people who dig him. So many give me dirty looks...

I know! I thought Huney & Roxey would both weigh much more than they do! For some reason, everyone thinks Huney is big, but she's not she's just a little wee one:D Ask Leslie (Adore My Dogs), she said Huney was sooo much smaller than she imagined!

And I thought Nebo looked alot bigger than Roxey:rolleyes: Guess pictures are deceiving hu?!

Shaianne my rainbow Bridge greyhound weighed around 75 pounds about a month before she died.

I know Huney is small but I would have NEVER thought she weighs less than 30 lbs!!! She is definatly a furball!!! :D
And I would have thought Roxey was bigger also. Maybe b/c she is taller.
Keegan is pretty thick in the butt tho. Everytime my grandparents see her they all say "BOY IS SHE BROAD" But she doesn't eat much at all. She barely eats the amount on the back of the bag!!
I took her to the Pet Store a couple weeks ago and the highschool girl behind the counter says to Keegan "Well, hi there, do you wanna treat, altho you don't look like you need one your kinda chubby!" :o :mad: Keegan wouldn't eat what she gave her!!! LOL!! :eek:

I know there was a thread in General last month or so about going thru different places and getting dog treats - I went the Taco Bell a couple weeks ago and they gave me 2 milkbones b/c Keegan was in the back!!!!:cool:

Well I always thought Huney looked like a pretty small chow, but I would have never guessed she only weighed that much! I weighed Reggie again to be sure, and he weighs 27 lbs. He's only a mini schnauzer too! And he might be a bit thick around the middle, but I don't consider him "fat" lol.

That's funny that you thought Nebo was bigger then Roxey! lol, I think it's just because I see him every day...but he seems so SMALL to me. You'd think it'd be the opposite since I've never had a big dog...but I see dogs all the time at work too, and Nebo just seems small. Course I gotta wait until he's full grown I suppose.
