Oliphant was concerned that she could no longer give the cat, a stray they took into their home last summer, proper care and attention.
When George's health started improving, the Oliphants' daughter secretly visited the shelter and adopted back the 3-year-old cat. Three and a half days later, Oliphant spotted Wollie crossing a road near her home.
