The kitten born without hind legs had surgery for a prolapsed rectum this week, followed by complications. Carrie Hawks was thrilled and relieved to see him racing around like a spaz (her term) again today because it showed he is feeling better. A new video shares the fun.

Anakin, Kitten born Without Hind Legs is Rescued and Gets a Home (http://www.lifewithcats.tv/2012/06/07/anakin-kitten-born-without-hind-legs-is-rescued-and-gets-a-home/) tells more of Anakin’s story and includes the charming and inspirational video that has touched thousands of hearts.

You can follow Anakin and his progress at the Anakin the Two Legged Miracle Cat (http://www.facebook.com/AnakinTheTwoLeggedCat) Facebook page.
Here he is, in Carrie’s words, being a little spaz, and feeling much better.

Is he running on two legs and keeping his hind end in the air? It doesn't look like he is dragging much. I hope he can keep it up as he gets bigger.

Awesome cat and and awesome parent to care for him.

That baby is just a little heart stealer that deserves to be spoiled totally rotten! I would love that baby so much that it would probably wish I would just go away and leave it alone. Isn't that the cutiest thing you ever saw in your life?!!!!

What a cutie!! I used to work with a girl who had a kitten who was born underneath a heater - he was badly burned and lost both of his back legs. He did just fine!! He hoists his behind off the ground and runs around on his front legs as fast as any of her other kitties! I'm so happy that Anakin is loved and spoiled, as he deserves to be!

There should be more people like Anakin's owners, who don't send their cat to the <bridge, just because it is disabled.....!
We have our 3 legged Snoopy,, and believe me, I am so proud to be her mom!!!!
