I hope there are some identifying documents in the garbage bag...like a torn envelope!

Pip is sure a cutie!

SALMON ARM, B.C. — A five-week-old kitten is recovering after being left for dead in a sealed trash bag by the side of a road in Salmon Arm, B.C.
The SPCA's Lorie Chortyk says the bag with the grey tabby was found by some mailboxes on Wednesday when someone went to check their mail and heard the kitty crying.
She says the rescuer opened the bag to free the cat and and took it to an SPCA office.
Chortyk says the kitty - dubbed Pip - is expected to recover.
The SPCA is appealing to the public for information on who may be responsible.

Thank goodness that person heard him! I wonder if the person whose trash it was even knew, kittens being notorious for getting into things! A full bag of trash could have seemed very tempting for a curious kitten ...

I'm so glad the kitten will be ok. I also think it is possible the kitten got in trash bag and the person didnt know it. We'll probably never know for sure.

Some people definitely suck, but I hope it was just an accident and everything turns out Okay.

I had a very intrepid RB kitty named Petey who was a fearless explorer. One morning I got my coat out of the closet and left for work, imagine my shock when I got home that afternoon and there she was in the closet sleeping and gave me the evil eye for waking her up!

Another time she jumped in my sock drawer when I wasn't looking and I closed the drawer. She did meow that time but I had to search the whole house to find her. I learned to always account for the furkids before you do anything. Especially laundry!

With a face like that people will be lined up to adopt Pip if the owners don't come forward.
What a cutie pie!

That reminds me of the slug who ever three months or so would have a box full of sickly Kittens at the Price Chopper.
WE wish we could take Pip in, but we bet that Pip will have a FurrEver Home soon.:love:
What a sweet Cat of the Future:love::love:

It's unbelieveable and so sad that someone could do that deliberately. :( The article says the bag was tied shot. :(

I hope this little baby will find a loving home and be spoiled the rest of his life.

Thank goodness Pip was rescued. No kitten, or any other living thing for that matter, should be treated like that. God bless the person who found him and took him to the SPCA. I hope Pip finds a good, loving home soon.
