Denmark has lost an important business man and a person made of very special substance. He retired when he was 90 and he died this morning, 98 years old - on our Queen's birthday.
Only last thursday, Møller made his last public appearance at the group's annual general meeting, chatting briefly with shareholders and signing autographs. He was ranked by financial magazine Berlingske Nyhedsmagasin as Denmark's wealthiest man, his fortune was $14.5 billion. His donation of 2.5 billion DKR. helped to build a new Copenhagen opera house, which opened in January 2005.
Wouldn't it be fantastic if he has donated some of his money to help abandoned/stray animals, as well! Don't hold your breath!
Waah, why couldn't I be a distant relative of his! ;)
