http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scooterheidi49.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scooterheidi50.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/sittytime17.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/sittytime18.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scooterheidi51.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scooterheidi52.jpgHeidi on her walk Wednesday morning,she saw the crossing guard and got a belly rub,then saw a cat under a car,cat arched its back,didn't like Heidi then saw the Black Lab/Collie and the Shih Tzu,they were going the other way and nearing home,saw Gracie,the Bichon and Mitzi the Poodle/Yorkie,they barked at Heidi,there both girls,Heidi didn't bark at them.Heidi on her walk this morning,the crossing guard was just getting out of her car,Heidi wanted to see her but she had to work,going down Flett Street she saw Cocker Spaniel,maybe a Poodle in there too ,was inside the fence and Heidi had her tongue through the fence trying to kiss the dog.Last night,looked up at me twice,the first time I thought it was to sit on the couch,it was to go out but sat down on the vouch,she ame over,didn't stay.not long after was looking at me again so went and sat down,was there for an hour or so.This morning,was up looking up out the window,then she gets down and is scratching at me wanting to go so we went,now is sitting in the chair next to me.I di Spring cleanup at Phyllis McRobbie's yesterday,8 bags worth,am stiff now,Mom and Marlene are going to Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto to see my uncle,he was transferred there about 2 weeks ago wiht his lower legs swelling up then had another operation for fluid around the heart,also had low Oxygen levels,will be there another week then back the rehab center 5 miles north of the hospital,my Aunt is doing pretty well on her own.

I have to admit, your feet always look to me like you have puffy slippers on! :) What cute pictures of you looking out of the window too! And you got Barry to sit on the sofa with you just by looking at him --- how cute and smart is that ?!!

Awww, Heidi! What a smarty! Getting ready for your meal and always ready to hear the word "G-O"! Hey, I was at Petsmart Tuesday and there was a lady in the store with a Shih Tzu whose coat was the color of honey. And I thought of you! He was very excited to be in the store with people and other dogs. His feet weren't nearly as cute as Heidi's feet, though.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/sittytime21.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/headrestin2.JPGHeidi sitting with Mom Saturday morning and late that afternoon,head resting on my leg.Saturday was too wet to walk,yesterday,she was bad in the house 3 times pooped and peed down here in the morning and later that evening pooped again and did it this morning as well.She has her cuddles with us,had some plays with the bone,right now is snoozing by the chair,raining right now,might get some slushy snow later on and tomorrow a rain/snow mix.Last night,Marlene invited us up there for cake,it is Samantha's 7th birthday today,Shannon had video on her phone of Samantha riding a bike without training wheels,just like me at the same age.My Uncle is still in Sunnybrook,has had 2 blood transfusions in the last week they say it is Hemorrhoids,Mom thinks it is the bug dad had when he was in hospital,he is on oxygen as well,his grandson was there on the weekend and walking with with him,my Aunt is fine,her son and wife took her out for a fish and chip dinner last night,gets her out of the house.Mom has gone to Oshawa this morning to take her written test for her driver's license,they do this her once you turn 80,she has been studying a manual every so hope he does well.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/sittytime22.JPGHeidi looking at me while sitting next to me while watching the hockey game last night.We had rain and wind yesterday so no walk,there was snow Northwest of Toronto,anywhere from 6-8 inches,we didn't get any.Heidi had plays with the red bone,slept under the chair then with me on the couch and was with Mom as well.it was cold and wet this morning,was around 34,no walk again,no rain right now but there is a cold wind too cold sand wet to do anything.Heidi got hold of an Earring of Mom's she dropped it,had to take it out of her mouth,lucky she didn't choke on it.She had a chew on red bone this morning,chew a corner off and was chewing so took that out of her mouth.She sat and looked out the window,saw girls going to school and her tail was wagging.She had her treats around 11,is now having a rest beside the chair.Mom passed her written driving test yesterday so she is good to drive for another 2 years.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/sittytime23.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scooterheidi63.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scooterheidi64.JPGHeidi sitting with me on the couch Wednesday night,on our walk Thursday morning,she saw the crossing guard and got a belly rub,then saw a Black Pug on Southway Drive,gave it a kiss and on her walk this morning,we passed a lady walking a baby and almost home on Southway Drive saw a Shih Tzu in a window,Heidi saw it as well and wagged her tail.Sometimes while sitting with on the couch,she licks my pants,when I am eating chips,salt may be on the pants and she licks the pants.She was waiting for me when I got back in after I did 3 lawns including ours,had her bone,I had my lunch,an Egg Sandwich.She had her supper around 2,I had so Sandwiches for supper, Mom was helping serve refreshments after a funeral and brought home the sandwiches.Heidi now curled up in front of Mom's chair.My Aunt talked with my Uncle,didn't say anything about going to a rehab facility,might be home next week at some point.I was wearing a winter coat and hat cutting grass,was 34 to start today,was windy as well,high today was 46.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scooterheidi65.JPGHeidi on her walk down Alfred Shrubb Avenue this morning,didn't see any dogs today,it was 27F this morning,by the middle of the week,to be in the mid 70's.Heidi sat with mom this morning and was staring waiting for me to say do you want a walk?Other than that ,she has been down here just being lazy,had her Milkbones around 11:00,had supper around 2,we went to a Spaghetti Supper put on by our church youth group,The Hi C's.There was Spaghetti and Meatbals,Penne Alfredo,Garlic Bread and Caesar Salad,dessert you could have either Strawberry,Chocolate or Vanilla,put either Caramel,Chocolate or Strawberry Sauce on it and also Fruit Salad.The kids did the serving ,pouring coffee and tea and dishing out the food and picking up dirty dishes,was a good turnout.I gave Heidi 2 Milkbones before we left,had two more and water when we got back, is now chewing on the red bone.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scooterheidi67.JPGHeidi this morning on a walk up Liberty Street South.She met a dog,not sure what kind,both trying to lick each others nose then going up Jane Street saw Abigail,Heidi's Shih Tzu pal looking out the front window,don't think Heidi saw her.Before this,she sat in the chair wit me and looked then spent some time with Mom,it wasa too wet to start with this morning then dried up enough to go.I did vacuuming while Mom did Meals on Wheels,Heidi doesn't like the noise ,shew was by Mom's chair when I was upstairs and down here ,she went up to the back door and stayed,she is just like Fritz who hated vacuums as well.Heidi now having a snooze in the chair.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scooterheidi70.JPGHeidi walking up Liberty Street South this afternoon,saw a lady on Jane Street,greeted her,we did see a dog it was across the street,a German Shepherd,was barking at Heidi,didn't bother Heidi a bit.She has been down her resting when we were at church and after the walk,no walk yesterday,I had two lawns to do and besides that she peed and pooped down here.Any time we would have a snack,either Chips or Nestle's Drumsticks,she had to have some Milk Bones,also did her staring thing to sit on the couch,so was there last night.She just went out again,has been a few times this afternoon,just to sit,a little cool but sunny ad 63,tomorrow rain,same for Tuesday morning.

Heidi, you get cuter and cuter every day. One of my neighbors has a new puppy that's the same breed as you are. His name is Bear. He's black with white markings. About 2 lbs. and adorable!! He's so playful. You would probably love to play with him. My girls kinda like him but they don't want to play with him too much. Be a good girl. Tell Mom and Barry hi.:)

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/headshakin3.JPGHeidi on her walk today on Parkway Crescent,stopping and shaking herself.She met the school crossing guard and got her belly rub and on Flett Street,she met her Black Pug and had a little play with each other.All she has done at home is have her Milk bone treat,had her supper and has snoozed,been outside as well.Mom worked at the Salad Luncheon at church today.My dinner was dropped off,it had Potato Salad,3 pieces of Ham,Bean Salad,Coleslaw,a Fruit Salad,a Jelly Salad,a bun and some cookies for dessert.Heidi sat with me on the couch,was staring at me to do so,also cuddled with Mom.Right now,she is having a snooze,is overcast right,have had some rain.

Hi Heidi!! I love the great pictures of you. You and Mom are so photogenic. Mom looks great. I'm glad to hear you're both enjoying life alot and doing things all the time. It's great that Barry is pretty busy and he still has time to walk you in the neighborhood to see all your friends. Sorry to hear about that mouse :( I remember having a couple of mice in our house in Virginia many years ago. It was scary. Glad to hear there are no mice in the area. http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scooterheidi82.JPGHeidi on her walk down Hobbs Drive this morning.She met the owner of the Cocker Spaniel we met last week and got a belly rub and just about home met a Poodle and Bichon and they got along fine.Last night,she had a couple of snacks,had her cuddle with me,later had a nap and was snoring,also curled at Mom's feet by her chair.this morning,had a little sit with me in the chair,had been rolling around the carpet then was down there snoozing.She was down here after coming back form the walk,I had our lawn to cut and Mom 's friend Doreen up the street.After I was done, we were down here where she snoozed some.She wanted supper around quarter to 2,went went at 4:30 to Massey House in Newcastle for supper,I had Chicken Souvlaki and a Caesar Salad while Mom had Liver and Onions,we each had rice pudding for dessert.Heidi has had had 2 snacks and 2 bones each,asked for a drink and is now outside again.

Hi, Heidi, happy girl! I like the picture of you waiting for a tummy rub! So here's one from me... *rub, rub* Happy Sunday!

It was 90F in Chicago yesterday and it's supposed to be that hot again today, although we are to get rain storms overnight so it will probably be much cooler tomorrow. That's fine with me. I hope the heat and rain miss you and you get just the nice weather.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scooterheidi83.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scooterheidi84.JPGHeidi walking up Parkway Crescent this afternoon then East on Southway Drive,it was a short walk,it was a little humid today and she was panting,close to 80F.We met Diane Ogden as neighbor up the street and she said her cat would like to play with Heidi and I said Heidi would love to play with her then almost home we met Mitzi a Poodle /Yorkie and Gracie a Bichon,both barked at her ,they don't like her, their owner says they are jealous of her.it didn't start off well today,she pooped down here,we didn't go on the walk until after church.I gave Heidi her treats after we got back,had her supper after 2,we had Steak for supper.I went for a bath and I heard Heidi barking,Mom said she may have saw a Mouse,I looked later and i didn't see nothing.Heidi has had 2 different snacks of bones,right in front of me now,probably go to the couch soon.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scooterheidi85.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scooterheidi86.JPGHeidi on her walk this morning,she met a Beige and White male Shih Tzu Austin,Heidi kissed him,he didn't seem to mind,no crossing guard today,a holiday ,the Victoria Day weekend,Marlene and Larry are at the cottage,Shannon and kids as well along with Shannon's friend Jamie.Before the walk,Mom and I planted Geraniums in the flowerbed,Heidi stayed out on the back patio.Heidi had her time on the couch last night,we went to bed early last night around 20 to 10,Mom wanted to see Carrie Underwood on the Billboard Music Awards then it was off to bed.Heidi spent time in the chair this morning,saw a dog being walked,growled and wagged her tail,she had her supper around quarter to 2,then went out and stayed with Mom in the gazebo for a time and now back down here with me having a snooze.This evening and overnight,we are to showers and possible thunderstorms,ending mid day tomorrow.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/wandergirl1.JPGHeidi wandering round the patio after her walk this morning.On her walk today,she saw Gracie the Bichon and Mitzi the Poodle/Yorkie,they still don't like Heidi and soon as they saw us coming they were into the barking ,growled at her when we caught up to them.At the same time,we also met a Border Collie,Heidi and the Border Collie got along well.When we got back,she was warm and wanted to lie down on the back step,she did so for about an hour until Mom came back from getting her nails done.this morning ,she sat with me in the chair and saw a Whippet being walked,stood and looked out,wagged her tail and growled.Last night,had her snack and water then growled for more water so poured some in from a bottle I was drinking from.Heidi had her snack,after coming down here after being out,had a blitz down here,now tuckered out and snoozing beside the chair,had her cuddle last night on the couch and at Mom's feet as well.We are having a gas barbecue delivered so we are waiting on that.Didn't get the rain they were talking about,right now sunny and 70F.

Oh Heidi. You're so funny. Giving the kitty kisses. You are one gorgeous little girl. I've decided that you are the neighborhood goodwill ambassador. Such a friendly girl!!
Who doesn't adore those amazing belly up shots? Soooooo cute!! I'm always happy to hear about the food there. Barry and Mom sure know delicious food. http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/snoozgirl3.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/drinkygirl2.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/snoozgirl4.JPGHeidi flipped over down here late Sunday afternoon,having a drink of water last night after having here first set of treats and later on in the evening,having a snoozing by Mom,did more of that last night,she did come and laid down beside me later.No walk yesterday or today,Monday morning had a thunderstorm and the rest of the day too humid,same reason today.She had a great time out on the patio Monday afternoon in the shade for about and hour,was out later in the evening 2 or three times,after the one time,was down here blitzing.Monday morning had a great time looking out the front window,not so much today,was resting,then she had a play with the red bone.She was bad Monday morning this morning,she pooped down here ,she will only do the bathroom routine when she goes on a walk,doesn't do it when she goes out in the morning.We were to get a thunderstorm this afternoon,by the looks of radar,it stayed south of Lake Ontario in New York and Pennsylvania.Had to get a new height adjuster for one of the wheels of the lawn mower,it broke on Saturday,cost $10,I tried taking it apart and putting it together,was was beyond me,should never have tried it so I had someone who does lawn mowers do for me,Buddy the German Shepherd's owner did it.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/drinkygirl3.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/girlrestin1.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scooterheidi92.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scooterheidi93.JPGHeidi having a drink Tuesday night,resting her head on mom's knee the same night,had a snooze there then came to me on the couch,on her walk Wednesday morning,saw the crossing guard and got belly rubs,she wondered where Heidi had been ,told her it was too humid for her to be out,had her snacks later,got more when we had Banana bread,went out a couple of times after the second time,and a blitz down here and cleared the toy bed in a big jump,had a snooze at Mom's feet and was snoring then came to me later,she was ready for bed around 10.She had a play this morning,had a look outside,last picture is of her walk today,she was shaking herself in this one,she saw the crossing guard again and got belly rubs.She stayed down here when I was out,not a good day for cutting grass,wheel came off the lawn mower,I had to borrow one form the man had tried to fix mine,it quit twice,had dirt in the carburetor, then was going to use another one ,me was showing me how to use it and he pulled the cord and it came right out,didn't tie a knot in it.so mom and I took ours to get it looked at,it will be at least a week.Tonight had to do the neighbor's across the street,he had our old one,only problem with it,had to tape the blade control lever in the on position,it was half broke off but at least it worked.Getting much need rain tomorrow,maybe an inch,Heidi had her snacks tonight,stayed with mom while I was dong the grass to night,having a snooze beside the chair.

So Sorry to hear about all the bad luck Barry. You've had your share and more of machine troubles. Heidi looks better everytime I see her. Love love love the upside down pictures!!! I really hope you get all the lawn mower problems fixed and back in business 100%. It must be frustrating.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/toyplayin1.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scooterheidi94.JPGHeidi playing with her bone Friday morning and on her walk today.It was not a good day to be outside her Friday,high wind and rain,we had some little branches and leaves come down,where I do grass on Jane Street for Phyllis McRobbie,a big branch was down,also tipped over was an outdoor table with a cover over it,had to pick it up,I tried putting Heidi's leash under a chair while I did that,she pulled the chair,wanted to put her back,her leash and harness came off and she run across the street,I got her,was not happy with her.Twice on the walk she met Tessa,a 4 year old Bichon and Sam a 9 year old Lhasa Apso/Poodle,had a great time greeting them both times.We went to the cemetery to check if a plant we had put on a stand was fine,it was ,as we were going in we saw a tree had uprooted in the storm and landed on fence and into the cemetery,no gravestones were damaged.I did the flowerbeds and cleaned up the leaves and branches,Heidi had snacks,her supper later,we had Sausage Rolls for supper,she has had 3 snacks of bones,I spelled out treat and she knew what I said,has been out twice,had a run and is now resting, will go to the couch soon.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scootgirl1.JPGHeidi on her walk this morning along Southway Drive.We saw a German Shepherd coming out of a back yard ,came down the sidewalk a little then stopped.Mom and a friend went to a outdoor service today so I stayed here and took Heidi for a walk.I took her before 8 in the morning before it got too warm,was up to 82,heat index in the mid 90's thunderstorms tomorrow night ,high of 30,heat index again in the mid 90's,cooler here Tuesday and 77.Heidi had her look out the window this morning,been down here with me most of the day,has been up a few times,had her morning snack,had supper at quarter to 2,we had Steak,she stays down here while I eat upstairs and no noise from her.Marlene and Larry had Buster Saturday Shannon , her kids and some other went to The Great Wolf Lodge Water Park in Niagara Falls for the day.Larry knows it is about time to put Taffy down,but can't yet bring himself to do it.My Uncle is still in Sunny Brook Hospital,still waiting to find a room at the rehab he is to go to.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scootgirl2.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scootgirl3.JPGHeidi on her walk this morning before it go too warm today,right now it is 84F,feeling more like in the mid 90's showers and thunderstorms tonight and tomorrow morning as well.Just got started thew walk and we met a neighbor,Clayton Morgan and he came out to see Heidi and she got a belly rub,I will be doing his lawn for about a month,he has some type of heart condition and near the end of thew walk met another neighbor down the street,Bonnie Barnoski,she was out watering a new garden she had put in which includes Hosta plants.I just walked Heidi around the block,too warm for a long walk today,she didn't stay out long after she had her supper at 20 after 1.I found out today ,I have won a Samsung Smart Camera with Wi-Fi capability,the contest was done through Facebook,I had taken a picture of Heidi on May 31st shaking herself on a walk,there were 4 cameras given out this was the 3rd in a 4 week contest,I have filled out a form and have to send it in by June 2o0th,from there it will 30 days before I get it,gave Heidi a big kiss for helping me win this.

Congratulations on winning the smart camera, Barry! And Heidi, I'm glad you and your master got a walk in before it got too hot. We were supposed to get some rain yesterday but it crossed further downstate. That's good for the central Illinois farmers, but we need some rain around here, too. None in the forecast all week but the prediction is for lower humidity- works for me. I like the picture from June 7 where you're looking at the camera very seriously! ((HUGS)))

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/couchgirl1.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scootgirl4.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scootgirl5.JPGHeidi on the couch down here Tuesday morning and walking up Liberty South then Orchardview today,she didn't meet any friends today,I saw the crossing guard,she didn't,crossing guard was still in her car waiting to start at 8 a.m.Tuesday morning was rainy,wasn't going to walk her but Heidi will not go out and do her business unless it is a walk so I took her out,it was wet but wasn't raining,she got her feet and tummy wet,she do what she had to do.there was a severe thunderstorm.Last night,she wouldn't settle down until I stopped eating barbecue chips then she was fine,goes from side of me to the other on the couch before settling down.She had her look outside Tuesday,did see a couple of girls go by,today saw a neighbor up the street go by.I went and did Marlene's flowerbed and cut grass ,she told me there is a nest in the tree,Blackbirds,apparently they have been dive bombing Taffy when she has been out,there were there today,yakking up a storm, didn't touch me.I did out flowerbed and grass when I got back, I have at least two tomorrow,have 5 in total to hopefully get done by Friday,getting my haircut on Saturday.Sent the fax about the camera Tuesday,heard from them today to confirm the address,will most likely get it in 30 days or so.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scootgirl8.JPGHeidi on her walk this morning,we met a Border Collie on Southway Drive,gave it kisses then the dog got up,had had enough then on we went ,saw the crossing in her car,Heidi didn't, she was focused on her walk.She came back and had a drink,now behind me on the carpet snoring up a storm,have at least 2 ,maybe 3 lawns to do and that is is it,getting haircut tomorrow.I thought the later walk Thursday would settle her down,I was wrong,she did a lot of wandering around,was outside twice,had a blitz down here before finally settling down.This morning,had her bone out chewing on it then up with me in the chair looking out,she was bugging me at quarter after 7 for the walk,was a little early,later on,she started again,was kissing and licking me so off we went.79F today,maybe showers later Sunday evening,to be in the high 80's,low 90's next week ,feeling like the mid to high 90's.walks will be short,depends on if we get rain ,how much grass i will do next week.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/sittinout3.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scootgirl9.JPGHeidi sitting out on the back step late Friday afternoon,she heard a neighbor behind us cutting grass while she was down here and had to go out and she what was happening.Heidi had two snacks last night,had two drinks of water,asked for the second drink,wandered around again,finally settled down beside,also had a blitz earlier.She snored beside while we were watching Nik Wallenda cross Niagara Falls,gets hard for me to watch because it was so far up,I don't like heights,glad he made it across,first one to do that.Heidi had her look out the window this morning,she followed me to the bedroom when Mom and I were changing bedsheets then it was tine for the walk.She first met a Cocker Spaniel/Spaniel mix,she kissed it,dog had no problem with it,later on she saw people sitting outside a house on Hobbs Drive,they have a blind 14 year old Cocker Spaniel that was in the house Heidi gave the lady kisses.She had a drink once home,then came down here after I was cleaned up.I gave her bone snacks, went and got my haircut this afternoon,had her supper after that,we had Fish and Chips.My Uncle is home form the hospital,his son and wife brought him home,Mom has gone over to see him,the son and his wife are planting some flowers for them.

I let Heidi up for a few minutes before church,she didn't do anything bad down here while we were gone,when we got back,we went to the cemetery and Mom left some flowers in front of Dad's stone for Father's Day,missed him yesterday.Almost home from the walk,Heidi saw Mom's friend Doreen and her daughter Cathy who was visiting form Kanata,Ontario near Ottawa,Heidi got some belly rubs..Heidi had her dinner around ,we had ours near 4,we had Steak and small potatoes wiht Onions.Heidi had a couple of snacks last night,took her time settling down last night,finally did.this morning,had her look out the window,had a play with the red bone,we had a thunderstorm overnight,still overcast,too wet for a walk,form tomorrow til Thursday,it is to be extremely hot and humid,feeling like 104-111F so most likely no walks and certainly won't be out in that heat doing much.Also yesterday,Mom saw a Newfoundland being walked so I picked up Heidi and when she saw that she started growling,she sounded like a motorboat starting up,never got a bark out.Heidi now having a snooze behind ,snoring.Mom just took my uncle out to get some groceries,he is doing fine,it will be a while before he is 100%.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scootgirl12.JPGHeidi on her walk late Monday afternoon,she was bad yesterday,did two bad things in the house and got a timeout for one of them.On the walk,did not see any pals,heard two barking from inside different houses,one was a Yorkie.She had a snack and water,had more snacks and more water I had Corn Chips.She took her time settling down again,thought the walk would've taken care of that.She sat in my chair and looked out today,spent most of the day down here snoozing,had a snack around 11,had supper at 20 to 2,we had Pizza,before that ,she was with me in the chair looking outside.We had a thunderstorm go by at 5:30 tonight,she was under my chair listening,would get out and look towards the bar room and listen,sat next to mom and also up with Mom in her chair,mom didn't go to the music concert tonight in Newcastle,to wet and it was humid today and again tomorrow,95 tomorrow feeling like 108,same kind of thing on Thursday before cooling off Friday.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scootgirl17.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scootgirl18.JPGHeidi on her walk Monday and today,yesterday we were going down Jane street and Abigail her Shih Tzu friend was barking at her fro inside the front screen door,Heidi heard,not sure if she sawe her,a little further down we met the crossing guard and she got a belly rub,then on Southway Drive met a Collie,Heidi kissed,Collie wagged its tail,didn't last long.Most of the day was spent down here,I had hedge trimming to do at Phyllis Mcrobbie's,Mom gave her 11 a.m. snack of bones,had supper around 2,had her evening snack around 6,had more later when we had a snack.She was pretty good last night,didn't do a whole lot of wandering.This morning,sat up with me in the chair after she had a roll on the carpet,starts bugging me for a walk,we met the crossing guard,got a belly rub, 2 more days for the crossing guard and then she is off until September.Before this,we met Tessa,the Bichon and Sam the Poodle,didn't to be bothered with Heidi today.Heidi was down here after we came home,I ended doing the neighbor's lawn across the street,also cleaned a few leaves form my Uncle's lawn from wind we have got the last couple of days..She had her 11 a.m. snack,we went out around 12:30,I bought a new portable radio,I dropped my other one and it stopped working.She paced around my chair here around two,stopped and looked at me and i asked if she was hungry,she at me then I got her supper.We had ours after this,we had Meatloaf and Fried potatoes.,had a play with the red bone now resting,Mom going to a concert in the park in Newcastle,Ontario tonight for 7p.m.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/girlysnooze2.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scootgirl23.JPGHeidi having a snooze by the chair late Sunday afternoon and on her walk today.We had Steak and fried potatoes on Canada Day,Heidi does not like the barbecue as soon as she sees it,she starts barking at it and I have to bring her in the house.I thought I had a problem with the camera yesterday,the lense didn't come out when I was trying to take a picture of Heidi on our walk Sunday,if i had the right bill with me they could know I have a warranty, they tried that with just a phone number ,couldn't find it,I figured out the problem,the battery was dead,I had to wait until the light had shut off to charge it,fine now.Heidi saw no dogs on her walks yesterday and today,heard fireworks last night,didn't bother her her.Heidi had her look out the window then on a walk, mom and cleaned a flowerbed after that,Heidi has spent most of the day down here being cool.She had her morning snack,,has had two snacks tonight,had two refills of water,asked for it,sitting now chewing on her bone.Still warm and humid here for most of the week.Elyse,I know there were storms down in the U.S. power is out in the Midwest including parts of Illinois,so if I don't hear from you for awhile,I will know why.

Hi, Heidi and Barry! It's nice to be inside and cool on a hot day, and to have a drink of cool water whenever you need one! Cassie is under the love seat (one of her favorite spots) as I am typing this. I'm glad the fireworks didn't bother you! Ours are tonight but I think they've been called off because everything is so dry. Heidi, I love your full tail! You are so cute, as always!

The storm from Sunday just clipped my neighborhood. It rained hard briefly, but we didn't lose our power. I have friends from church who did, though. The storm was stronger north and west of here.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scootgirl43.jpgHeidi on her walk this morning.Last night ,she had a couple of snacks,then would look at me and it was like she was talking,probably more treats,told her no she had enough then she went to the end of the couch to lay down and pout,did it a couple of times.She sat with me in the chair this morning and she saw neighbor Diane Ogden go by,just watching her go by,no tail wag then another ,Mrs. Bruce,she was going to work,Heidi's tail went,she has a Shih Tzu,don't see it a whole lot,is in the house most of the time,good time now the way the weather has been,Heidi saw the Boston Terrier and she growled and wagged her tail at the same time.it came time for the walk and during it she saw Mr.Snowden,she was happy to see him,go a belly rub and was still after him after we got going again.She has had her late morning snack,she is snoozing in the chair right,was snoring,not right now.Good day to stay in here,way warm again,feeling in the upper 90's,feeling close to 100F by Monday,cooling off by Wednesday to 82 hopefully with less humidity.Having Dominos Pizza for supper,Heidi will have hers around 2 p.m.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scootygirl1.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scootygirl2.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scootygirl3.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/girlrestin23.JPGHeidi on her walk yesterday and snoozing in the chair this morning.On her walk yesterday,she met her Boston Terrier friend Anya and they greeted each other,the rest of the day was spent down here snoozing or eating.Marlene brought Heidi Taffy's old food and water dish on Sunday for her to use,it had been all cleaned out and sanitized.I tried it for her supper Monday,she would not go near it,would sit and bark at it,i sat there in the kitchen and waited for her to eat,she didn't so went down here and I heard her barking so went back up and sat in the living room did the same thing and did that when Mom came home.She finally drank water from one of the dishes,later on tried putting her dish of food on top of the new one,would go near but not eat,was scared of it.,We tried again this morning,no luck so back to the little plate we have been using.Because of this,she didn't go for a walk today,it rained a couple of time today after that,she was bad down here today,pooped twice,probably mad at not going for a walk today.I was busy yesterday,cleaned windows of mom 's van,tightened a wheel on the lawn mower,cut 3 lawn including ours,trimmed weeds form the back patio.Mom went to the concert in the park tonight.Earlier she did meals on Wheels with her friend d Doreen who lost her husband recently and they went out lunch after that.
