Robin's son rescued Missy...a 6 year old flame point Siamese in January from the FREEZING COLD. Unable to afford vet care, the cat was seen by a kitty cardiologist through a the Animal Lifeline program. Missy was diagnosed with obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy...healthy otherwise. Robin is unable to afford to feed the cat...or...pay even for the medication....kitty Atenolol...1/2 tab once a day. (which costs about $20 a year).
Robin has asthma...and she just recently spent 9 days in the hospital...the doctor ordered her to get rid of the cat NOW. She had an appointment to take the cat to a local kill shelter TODAY...but we asked her to hold off for a week while we reach out for help!
She needs to find a new home or foster by Wednesday, April 11.
IF YOU CAN HELP THIS KITTY, please email us at [email protected]. Robin does not have email. Cat is vaccinated and FIV/FELV negative, but we are unsure if she is fixed (we cannot read the vet notes but will verify). She did not have a chip. Thank you so much....the kitty is so beautiful!!!
We are beyond full and just had several returns...we cannot help this Siamese. CAN YOU??? PLEASE!!! Sponsorship money is available. Vet records are available.
