I'm not sure anyone would be interested to hear about this or not, but I'm so happy with Clo right now I thought I'd share along with her pup pictures.

I've had 6 training sessions with Clover for positive training methods to walk nicely on her leash. I've been pretty frustrated with her sometimes. She just didn't seem to get it. Today was a beautiful day, so I took her to the water front for her walk. There is always a TON of people here on a nice day. Clover loves everyone, and usually rushes up to every person/dog to say hello. This is what I've been trying to get her not to do because some people just don't like it. By mid walk, Clover was walking at the end of her leash, not pulling, and not going up to greet people. I couldn't believe she just walked by people without rushing over. Dogs are a little more tricky. Since her stay is pretty strong, I get her to sit/stay as dogs go past. She got up a few times, but she actually stayed for the most part.

The best part, a lady walked past with her dog and said to her friend as she passed "What a well behaved dog!" and a man with his dog later on said "I wish my dog could do that!" I never thought I'd ever hear that toward my dog  I'm so impressed with how she did. I really feel like my hard work is finally paying off. It's A LOT more work then pinch/choke training, but it's so much more rewarding (I find anyway. I've done both)

Anyway, onto the cute puppy pictures! I just got them from my boyfriends mom last night. Can you believe she was ever this small!?

OMG look at that pink puppy belly! I just want to kiss it.

She's a great dog thanks to the way you are loving her and training her. :)

AHHH, she was so little and tiny and precious . I miss having a puppy, but I don't miss the puppy stage where they eat and chew everything :D. Congratulations to both you and Clover on your training accomplishments!

Good job Clover! Positive training is great because the dog learns to want to behave instead of just doing things to avoid discomfort. Its better for bonding and communication between a human and dog too and the best behaved dogs are the ones with the strongest bond.
