All I Need to Know About Life I Learned from My Cat
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Life is hard and then you nap.
Curiosity never killed anything except maybe a few hours
Variety is the spice of life: One day ignore people, the next day annoy them, and play with them when they're busy.
Climb your way to the top -- that's why the drapes are there.
Never sleep alone when you can sleep on someone's face.
Make your mark in the world -- or at least spray in each corner.
Make love loudly and have your babies quietly.
When you go out into the world, always remember, being placed on a pedestal is a right, not a privilege.

I am sure the cats of Pet Talk could add more to this:

9. What's your is mine, and what's mine is mine, unless it is beneath my dignity to acknowledge it.
10. Everything looks better graced with a few cat hairs - the real must-have accessory.

That's so cute - and true.

Re: Karen's #10 - I have a throw pillow that says "no outfit is complete without dog hair". Of course the cat owners can substitute with "cat".

11a. If you want the best chair in the house, you will have to move me, the cat.
11b. It is my house. I only allow you to live here because you have opposable thumbs.
11c. I don't do leftovers.
11d. have I taught you nothing about the importance of a clean bathroom?!
11e. I can communicate volumes without making a sound.

And the one thing I know for sure...
11f. I am the cat. I am very hard to leave. I am very easy to come home to!
