I just received a call from a woman in Manalapan, NJ. She has been caring for 3 semi-feral kittens since birth. They are less than a year old. The Animal Control officer of Manalapan has been harassing her and told her that it's illegal to feed homeless cats in Manalapan. The resident had the mom cat spayed and vaccinated with her own money. Now she is too frightened to care for the babies anymore due to the Animal Control officer yelling at her and telling her that it's illegal. In the middle of the winter, their shelter (an igloo the woman purchased for them) and their only known food source has now been removed.

The kittens can be touched while eating, but not picked up. They would need to be trapped, but because they can be touched while eating they hold promise of being adoptable. At the very least, they'd do great as farm cats.

Can anyone please rescue these three babies? We are expecting snow, they have no shelter and no food. They are huddled on the woman's porch and she's in tears. She said she cannot take them in because she has two elderly cats who would be very upset.
