Whenever I visit my parent's house, their dog has to bring me each of her toys and drop it in my lap! If I try to actually play with a toy with her, she is usually off getting the next toy! Does anyone else's dog do this?

My Lab sometimes does this. But should she get her Kong, all other toys are forgotten! She brings it to me, drops it in my lap and won't leave me alone until I put peanut butter and dog cookies in it for her to enjoy!

Our boxer, Sara, likes to bounce her toys off the trampoline. We'll toss her toys on top and she'll go underneath and bounce them with her nose. Seems like it would be tough on her nose but she loves it!

My Mysti (a snowy white Lab mix) always brings me his toys, one-by-one, when he feels lonely or thinks I don't love him enough... Then, we play hide-and-seek till he drops down from running :-)

For my two babies, their favorite toy is Barney - yes, that dreaded purple reptile...doesn't stand a chance in my house. Two dogs, one Barney - can we say stuffing all over my living room floor? :-)

The funny thing is, my parent's dog, a 3-year-old Saint Bernard, doesn't really want to play with the toys too much when I visit. If I throw one, she'll bring it back, but she mostly just brings them to me! The funniest part is, after I've been there a while and she is settled down at last http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif, she sometimes remembers another toy, and has to leap up and bring it to me right away! Then she'll go back to her nap.

My 2 1/2 year old Border Collie Mix has
always greeted us with a stuffed toy in
his mouth. The objective is to lure us into
a game of tug-of-war. This is his favorite
game.

My 1 1/2 year old Australian Cattle
Dog mix is totally different. He LOVES to
play catch (or fetch) with a ball, any ball,
and will do so for hours or until I get
tired http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif . He attempts to engage me into play by bringing a tennis ball and dropping it at my feet. The fun begins when the ball is tossed in the air where he can leap and snatch it out of the air. For variety the
ball can be thrown and he will race after it
(with abandon), retrieve it and drop it at my
feet.

Max (Border Collie Mix) and Sydney (Australian Cattle Dog Mix) are a constant
source of joy, and exhaustion http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif .
