Thanks for sharing your special photos. Isn't it just wonderful to see your children grown, happy and in love?!!

I don't have children, so I will never experience watching children of my own, grow. But I have lots of friends with children and try to take my needs for kids, out on them! They love it, as they receive lots of gifts and favors from me!

Merry Christmas Lut. I am glad your family was able to celebrate with you.

Sas and her campers!

What a wonderful family you have! So nice that all could be together. They look like a fun group. Love your table setting and the santa hats for the chairs. So festive!

Do the kitties enjoy having company?

Never concidered adopting? Our children are both adopted, and for us they are our "own kids"! I cannot imagine a life without ours!!

What a beautiful family!! Great pictures, and I just love the chair covers. :D

I also do not have children. But my pets are our children and its fun to watch them grow too. :) I would not mind adopting, but Bruce says he's too old to be a dad. We can't even afford to get married, so I don't think we could support a child either. The four furries we have are expensive enough. :p
But I have nieces and friends children I get to watch grow into wonderful adults.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful evening with us. :D

Lut, I have not been a married woman for years and believe it best to have a Mom and Dad involved in child rearing. That being said, there are lots of women and men rearing children on their own and doing a fine job.

I am too old now, to adopt. I have been very close to several young people in my lifetime, including being a "Big Sister" as in Big Brothers/Big Sisters. My friend's children often count on me to drive them places etc., so I feel as though I have part-time kids around most of the time!

Adopting is a wonderful thing. I probably would have made a great mom, but looking back on it, there was never a time for me to feel completely confident I could support a child or two. I am a worry wort of sorts and always worry about finances, health etc. If I had been married, less worry would have been there.

Your children thrived and you are lucky. They are lucky to have had two stable parents and guardians. Children who are NOT adopted are not guaranteed good parents, so the fact that they were adopted and found two wonderful parents is in itself, wonderful.

Enjoy their time with you and hope they hang around your country and town long enough to have you share their children with them! Grandkids. Oh my, how time flies, doesn't it!

Happy New Year Lut and family. Enjoy your special days and times. And may there be many more to come.
