Friday, Dec 23rd, was Fred's 8th Gotcha Day. I just remembered as I was talking with my brother this evening.
Fred walked up to my mother that evening as we were returning from shopping. Of the three cat people standing there, he picked the matriarch, the owner of the home. (He was about 4-5 months old at the time.)
Short version, after about 5 minutes of in and out, he was sitting on the couch, ignoring the dogs, and claiming his new home. It was nice that night, the next night was below freezing.
He's not a cuddly cat but he's never left the home. Now that Joe has the house, he looks to Joe. He is a sweet cat.
So wish Fred a Happy Gotcha Day!
