My sister is expecting her fifth child in early May 2012; my 11th niece or nephew. She had an ultrasound today. Her last baby, Zoe, was born with a cleft lip. Zoe's cleft was relatively minor, but Patricia has been getting some additional testing to see how this babe is developing....
Baby #5 is developing perfectly normally, right on track for size and growth and NO cleft!

Zoe had her cleft repaired a year ago(she's 19 months old now). You can barely see the scar! She'll need some more surgery when she's 9 or so to get her mouth ready for permanent teeth. She's a little spitfire!
