Looking back, our fall was much better than our summer, but it will soon be over, as they predicted snow for the next days. We had an awfully rainy and dark summer, but the fall was making up for that: not one single drop of rain throughout November!

At the beginning of November, it was warm and sunny, and nature was showing the most beautiful colors:

November 6 was the last warm day, and the countryside was sooo beautiful that day:

There were some gloomy days after that:

After that, the misty days came, but that was also a great opportunity for pictures:

There was no rain, and by the end of November, there was barely water in our rivers:

Now in December, the sun is setting at 4 in the afternoon, but that way I could take some sunset pictures:

Beautiful pictures, as always, Kirsten! Too bad we couldn't send you some of our water for your rivers, ours are overflowing from the rain.

Come with me, into these woods
Where leaves will crunch underfoot
As their compatriots fall gracefully around us
Breathe in the air, still warm but with that
Sharp edge of autumn approaching
Inhale the scents of rich decay and moss and summer's passing
Come with me into these woods, and feel
The sunshine, dappled through branches and
Sparse remaining leaves,
As it touches our faces with a last kiss of heat
As we clasp hands and stroll amidst
The fleeting autumn splendor and gold
Kicking up leaves and memories as we go

Once again, Kirsten, you have created magic! After enjoying and looking forward to your extraordinary photography I'm convinced that there's nothing you can't do with a camera! I'm already anxious to see what your next photo shoot will be!

Please give Lily and Luna lots of lovies from me?

Thank you everyone for taking the time to look at my pictures, and for your comments. :)

Karen, you found wonderful words again, your poem takes me right back to that day... it's only a few weeks ago, but the forest has changed so much ever since. Now your words brought back the memories of a beautiful, warm fall day. :)

Oh, believe me, there are many many things I cannot do!

You're welcome, I will be doing more of them as the days go by, your photos are quite evocative.

I love them! Sometimes your style reminds me of me. Like the graffiti one and the ones like the view from the curb. If I had to pic a fav, it would be this one. I always enjoy viewing the world through your eyes.
ETA: Doesn't taking photos make everything better? If I'm feeling down, I can go out and spend a few hours taking photos. After that, I feel so alive and fulfilled. That's when I feel the most alive.
