Catmobile kitties: How about the Oscars? ;)

Cassie here. My meowm thinks I mean the Catmobile should go to the Academy Awards and I'm sure we'll get to that. But what I mean is -- since there are now two Oscar kitties... Catty1's Oscar and Killearn Kitties' Oscar... could we please consider taking a spin up to CATada and visit Oscar, Cole and Zoë followed by a trip to Samantha and Oscar in sCATland? Or the other way round. Some time after the New Year. My meowm will think we're in California but we'll know better!

I think he is learning a special song for a special Princess...:D:love: Mac and Kimba can't wait to see the gang again and want to know the dates of the trip as soon as anyone knows them. They love Amtrak and would like to take the train to Trenton, if they are meeting there again. They could go to Baltimore, also. Just let them know.

Of course Ming, Mac and Kimba can take the Amtrak to Trenton and they're more than welcome to stay at my place until it's time to leave. Meowmie and Soncat love it when my kitty pals come by! Ming, the harp from the Trenton State music majors is still safe and sound in Soncat's room. If you'd like, I can call and see if the students can come by to make sure it's tuned properly. Hmm, if we're going away I should ask them to tune my fiddle too. We must always be prepared to sound our best.

Personally, I think she will use any excuse to wear a tiara but I think the real reason is she wants to dazzle a certain bagpipe player...:love:

As for Franklin, he's not saying much but he has been practicing like crazy and driving the rest of us bonkers, but in a good way. I do have to admit, "Somewhere" from West Side Story sounds a bit strange on the bagpipe.....:rolleyes:

Evidence: Pinot didn't come to bed with us, none of her alternate beds appeared slept in, her Catberry needed a charge, she was a bit sluggish this morning, and my Mardi Gras beads "fell" off their hanger...hmmm....:rolleyes:

I have a feeling the Oscar trip is planned and they may have been involved in a parade for Mardi Gras. Any other strange occurences in the land of the Catmobile kitties?

Now that you mention it, I've noticed a few of my CDs are whereabouts unknown and a few cans of tuna have mysteriously disappeared from the cabinet. There was also a message on our e-mail for Groucho from Cat Court. Maybe we should check with the Haggis In A Hurry Shoppe to see if there has been any recent Catmobile catering.

Well, the boys brought the entire Cat Mobile Gang over to stay at our place! It's a little crowded here right now. Tomorrow I'm finding them a nice hotel suite in town so they can party away from Mom and I can sleep!:rolleyes:

Did they ever! I had to get up early to day and go to work and the lack of sleep made that a little difficult, though I did it (it was my turn in the carpool). I had every intention of booking them a nice hotel suite in Pasadena so they could be centrally located to everything fun here, but I got home and they were nowhere in sight. I found a note: " Meowmie, went to the Sheraton. Booked a real nice suite! Someone had plastic on them so you don't have to pay!" Y'all best be checking your credit card bills next month!!!

Oh this is nothing. Once the Catmobile hits the road, we purrents never know when they'll be home or where they'll end up. A few years ago they started out for Catada to hang out with the Found Cats and somehow ended up in Edinburgh, Scotland! That's where the PT Kitty Bagpipe Quartet got started, three of the kitty guys decided to take bagpipe lessons and the rest is history (have you ever heard Stairway to Heaven on bagpipes? That's Franklin's signature song!). And since Edinburgh they MUST have haggis on every trip.

Uh-oh. I wasn't putting some things together until that reminder. My Pastor Ken is headed for Scotland on Wednesday (it's his second home) and his kitty Angus is home alone (with Barbara the kitty sitter). Angus has mentioned to Pinot (they chat via Catberry) he would like to experience a Catmobile trip. I know Angus misses his Daddy Ken when he travels...am I paranoid or is this a bit coincidental? Should we be a little more vigilant with our check ins?

I forgot to mention that the PT Kitty Bagpipe Quartet appears in kilts and their designer sunglasses. They performed at the Superbowl Half-Time Show, several parades, and were invited to play at the Royal wedding. Someone who's a whiz with photoshop could run for miles with this one.
