I met Tinkerbelle, Persian kitty on the 365 Project, which I joined because several PTers are sharing their amazing photography work there. Today I clicked on Tink's person's page, and found this. I have no idea what happened and I am just aching for her person. Just a few photos ago Tink was modeling a new pink jacket. She and her Persian siblings (who are equally beautiful) are very popular on the 365 Project. Dear sweet Tink, I will meet you in person, One Fine Day.

I'm so sorry to hear this.:( Isn't Tinkerbelle a PT kitty? I seem to remember a PT'er who has several persians and Tinkerbelle was one of them. She sure was a beauty. RIP sweet girl.:(

Oh, this is so sad! :(

For some reason, I always missed Tinkerbelle's pics on 365, but I just checked her mommy's project, and saw all her pics. She looks very much loved, and my heart breaks for her mommy.

Thanks for posting this.

R.I.P. sweet Tinkerbelle!

She most certainly is a PT kitty. Her meowmie is Shady & her fursibs are Kewpie & Spike. It has been some time since Theresa posted.

I am so sorry to hear about Tink. She was a beautiful girl.

HUGS to Theresa in the wake of the lose of your beautiful girl.

We are so sorry to hear about Tinkerbelle.
It is always sad to lose a Cat , and sadder when the Cat is a Pet Talker Cat.
But Tinkerbelle is now among friends , and will be soon searching for a place where she can be reunited with her Family and Cat Companions in love.
One Fine Day:love:

Sleep peacefully my little one..you earned your wings, you'll be forever in my heart.

Baby mine, don't you cry.
Baby mine, dry your eyes.
Rest your head close to my heart,
never to part,
baby of mine.

Little one when you play,
don't you mind what they say.
Let those eyes sparkle and shine,
never a tear,
baby of mine.

If they knew sweet little you
they'd end up loving you too.
All of those people who scold you
what they'd give just for the right to hold you.

From your head down to your toes,
you're not much, goodness knows.
But you're so precious to me,
sweet as can be,
baby of mine.

If they knew sweet little you,
they'd end up loving you too.
All those same people who scold you,
what they'd give just for the right to hold you.

From your head down to your toes
you're not much, goodness knows.
But you're so precious to me,
sweet as can be,
baby of mine.
Baby of mine

Sorry for not posting sooner, I cant seem to focus all the time..I'm heartbroken.

Thank you so much everyone for your kind words. It's been a rough road, and she fought the good fight. Unfortunately it got bigger than her, it had to be done, although reluctantly, as I absolutely did not want her to suffer in any way, when I felt that her quality of life was threatened I knew I had no choice but to do what was best for her even though I struggled with it . I miss her so much already..and although I do have three others, I've always had this special connection with her and her to me..that isnt quite the same with the others..she was one in a million.

As a note to other pet owners..be vigilant, ignore nothing..she presented with a tiny bit of blood from one of her nostrils..then nothing for months I thought that maybe she had scratched herself..as it turned out when it happened again a few months later, I took her to her vet and through tests, and blood work plus a needle biopsy, it was determined she had a thinning of the bone and a fast growing tumour way up in her nose. I was referred to specialists who wanted $5,000.00 just to diagnose her, through a rhinoscopy and a CT Scan. This would be just a diagnosis, as there was no 'cure' they could only give her a little more time and comfort. I couldnt see the point of that, so let her determine what would take place next. Perhaps if I had addressed the tiny bit of blood immediately things might have turned out differently, but I honestly dont think so.

Towards the end, she began to struggle for breath and it was time the relieve her, she passed peacefully in my arms yesterday at noon, in her home, with the assistance of her wonderful and amazingly compassionate vet. We wrapped her in her own blanket and waited until I felt I could let her go..then he took her.

Give your babies a hug for Tinkerbelle and I.

Again thank you all for your kind comments..it is appreciated and it does help.

Special thanks to cassiesmom for initiating, I'm all upset and my brain isnt working as it should again yet.

Shady, as I already said in 365 (I'm "ShadowDancer"), I'm very very sorry for your loss. It sounds like precious Tinkerbelle fought a hard battle to stay with you as long as possible, and I think it was the right decision not to put her through all these stressful diagnosis things, especially as it wouldn't have changed a thing... :( I'm sure she felt she was surrounded by your love when she went on her last journey...

Give your babies a hug for Tinkerbelle and I.

Oh, I will... (((HUGS)))

Thank you so much Kirsten, I had to do the right thing for her, no matter what I wanted..it wouldnt be fair to her. I wanted to be sure she would not suffer..I felt her vet and I gave her what she needed most desperately. After 12 years of her love, it was the last best thing I could do for her.

I must say though she was a real little trooper through all of this, letting me easily medicate her, being so compliant with all the strange people handling her..as she was always well behaved no matter what.

She was a sweet, loving, beautiful little spirit and I hope to meet her there one day.

Much love, Theresa.

What a beautiful girl. And so dearly loved by you, Shady. God be with you and bring you peace and comfort. You gave Tink the most wonderful home and life and love ever, and you will never be parted.

Such a lovely girl, putting those Fancy Feast kitties to shame with not only her beauty but her sweetness and photogenic self.

Rest in peace, dear Tinkerbelle
Soft as the clouds you now live above
Greenest of eyes that saw straight to the soul
You delicate pawprints engraved on many hearts
Chase butterflies to your hearts content
Up at the Rainbow Bridge
And know you left your momma
All the love a kitty could give.

Oh Shady, I had no idea that you and your babies were a PT member! Although I remember Persian kitties with the same names as yours, I never made the link. I'm Muse from 365. As I told you before, I'm so sorry for your loss. (((hugs)))

I'm not familiar with the 365 project, but I'm very well acquainted with the pain that Teresa feels. I have tears, reading your post. All is now well with Tinkerbelle - and she wants all to be well with you, Teresa; cry for yourself all you need to (and I know that's a lot), but force a smile, no matter how slight, for the happiness that your beloved Tinkerbelle now knows - the most beautiful smile is the one that must break through tears.

May Tinkerbelle's Creator guide your heart to peace.

Thank you so much again, I also did not make a connection.

Thank you maerlyn..I'm still struggling with it..I know she is better off as her quality of life began to dwindle, but my heart is broken, I cant control the tears when I speak of her and her journey..and my voice still trembles as well.

Tinkerbelle was a huge part of this household, and although I have Spike, Kewpie and Rocky, she left her pawprint on my heart so deep that I cant begin to verbalize.

I hope I can sort this out in my mind soon, it's almost been four weeks ..but I know deep in my heart, it cant be rushed.

She was the sweetest most beautiful thing I have ever had in my life.

Anyway, thank you again for your lovely thoughts..it helps.

Tess
