For those who have not seen the story under Cat Rescue (http://64.246.0.213/talk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=16896) or
Pet General (http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=17038) , I'll recap:

There was a momma stray who had three kittens. I was able to capture one of the kittens and then the momma. Two kittens are still at large.

Kitten, now named Eli, went home with Moosmom.

Momma, was called Patches, now named Zam, is living with me. And I'm 99.9% positive that she is here to stay. :D

Here are they pictures. Now I need to go get more film and take more pictures. :)

Zam:

Zam is VERY laid back. She doesn't play with the toys, except the catnip pillow on occasion. But she's quite the lover and loves her ears scratched and always has that motor running. :)

I can't possibly let her go.

What a beauty Zam is! And I have seen Sweet Eli yesterday. How lucky they were to find a good home. Sounds as if Zam knew exactly where she belongs -her behavior is like that.

Zam is beautiful. She may learn to be more playful. I took in a stray who had no clue what a toy was even for, but he learned.

Eli and Zam are beautiful cats! Let us know if/when you can catch the other two kittens. Have you taken Zam to the vet's yet? How old do you think she is?

I took Zam to the vet on Saturday. She's healthy but a bit underweight. She's only 6 pounds. I got her vaccinated and I'm going to have her spayed soon. I totally forgot to ask the vet how old they thought she was. Moosmom thinks she's probably a year old.

The vet estimated the kittens to be about 9 to 10 weeks old. They are weened and momma doesn't seem to miss them.

What fabulous coloring on Zam. My first cat as a child was a calico. I just love them!

Are those spots on Eli's hiney? And a freckle on his nose? That is a face that MUST be obeyed!

Sarah,

Yes, Eli has spots. He also has two dots on his nose. One over each nostril. Zam is such a beautiful loving cat. It looks like she's right at home and isn't even thinking about going out. I'm wondering though, whether Eli is the runt of the litter. His brother, who we saw yesterday, seems bigger than he is. He's very sweet too. But a bit shy. I'm know he'll come around.

Both are so beautiful! Moosmom, I can see why you immediately fell for Eli, she's a real beauty. And Ramanth, Zam is such a striking cat, especially her facial markings - amazing!

Zam is beautiful, and Eli looks like another little kitten that is absolutely adorable (I want a kitten sooooo bad. :( ). I'm so glad things worked out for Eli and Moosmom, and for you and Zam. I'm sure she'll come around to the toys once she learns that she's in for good and doesn't need to worry about finding food and a safe place for her and her kittens to sleep - poor thing.

Good luck with the other two kittens!
