It's been too long, and my little guy is over three months old now! His big snip is one week from today!

Just for some nostalgia, here he was the day he arrived, less than 3 ounces!

Now he's three pounds! He's just getting over an eye infection, that's why he's got some crusties in a few of these photos. We've got a few days of Terramycin to go, and he's almost stopped producing crusties.

Sleeping on Meowmie's lap with the octopus-bunny. This was his favorite toy ever until Jasper munched it. -_- I replaced it, but apprently the replacement just isn't the same.

Hello? Hi Meowmie! I see you're reading. Obviously you need more kitten. Put the book down!

Goooood Meowmie.

This side is good too, it has another dot!

See my pretty black tail with white guard hairs? You can't see it, but there's a BIG kink in my tail that gives it more "personality". Whatever, I have plenty of personality!

Sherpa was sitting nearby, but he does not approve of the flashy box.

After such an exhausting modeling session, I need a nap with the stinky cat who eats my toys. He's a very good snuggler, but he gets me all wet when he grooms me. I'll teach him how to do it right after our nap...

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

Oh, and a quick Charlie update! She's doing a little better, and we found out that it was KYUBEY peeing on the bed!! He was trying to tell us that he couldn't get into the big kitty litterboxes. We put out a box that he coudl get into and out of easily, and the peeing on the bed stopped immediately.

Charlie still growls and hisses at him if he comes too close, but she's back to sunning herself downstairs durign the day and demanding treats at night, so I've relaxed and decided to keep at it with the feliway and give her more time.

Hello, sweet Kyubey and friends! Kyubey, you have lost your new-born kitten look but you are a most adorable 3-month old! And smart, too-- you got meowmie to put the book down and play with YOU! Excellent work! *kisses* all around

He sure is a cutie pie and he's growing up fast.:) I'm glad to hear that Charlie is doing better and that it wasn't her peeing in your bed. Hopefully everyone will continue to do well and get along as well as possible.:)

If I didn't know better, I'd swear Kyubey has "Van" markings, like my Isis. Van markings are indicative of a Turkish Van. Pointed on the tail and a splotch of color on the head.

He is beautiful and has come a loooong way! His fur looks like bunny fur and I'm sure just as soft.

Thanks for sharing those beautiful pictures. I especially love this one!

What a cutie he is! And yes, there are Van markings like my Althea's. (Hers are so perfect that I once did a double-take when I saw a photo of a purebred Van - thought it was her!) Kyubey is simply darling - how blessed the two of you are!

Ooooh, I never noticed his markings were so van-like! Wow!

He gave us a scare this morning, with a flying leap off of a banister which resulted in about a 12 foot fall! He's fine. He dusted himself off and is playing playing playing like his usual self. But SHEESH! I was him fall and just about had a heart attack.

D'oh. Kyubey was sent home from his neuter appointment today because his bits haven't made an appearance yet. I was actually miffed at the vet at the low cost clinic....she obviously wasn't listening when I told her I'd had him since he was 2 days old because she kept asking me if I was SURE he hadn't been neutered....since both of his testes are still undescended.

Pretty sure nobody has snuck him out of the house while I'm at work and nipped 'em off...

Oh well, back on the two+ month waiting list, and hopefully they'll put in an appearance before then!

My RB Starr also had this and it's called cryptorchidism. He was supposed to be neutered by the rescue group before I adopted him but they couldn't do it yet because everything was still inside of him. Since the woman knew me, I was able to adopt him before he was neutered because she knew that I would neuter him later. At about 6 months of age, one of his testicles descended and one was still inside so he basically had a spay/neuter since he had to be opened up to get to the other testicle. Hopefully Kyubey's testicles will descend soon. Here's a link about it: http://hillsborovet.com/pet_care/cats/about_cryptorchidism.php.
