The sun is out, it's warm, I'm happy.
I think I'll go shopping today, and spend some of my hard earned dollars.
But wait. The US dollar is lower than ours. Bargain !!!! I'll shop on eBay.
BARGAIN BIN !!!!!

If you use your credit card ( and buy lots of stuff to help stimulate our economy) you can get a good turn over. We did that years ago when visiting Canada & bought a bunch of school clothes for the boys & used our credit card at the Edmonton Mall.

Naw. I have a credit card, but never use it. I hate owing money, even if it is interest free the first month. I just send the funds straight from my bank.
I dunno if it would do much to stimulate the economy tho, the US sellers are almost giving it away. And that coupled with the current value of the US dollar, I'm really making a pig of myself....hee hee.

What is now the dollar comparison U.S. & Auss?

93 Cents Aussie = $1 US.
A few years ago when I was in Arkansas it was $1.50 Aussie = $1 US.
So yeah, the greenback has lost over a third of it's value since then.
