Christmas cards exchange 2011

For the past few years Pet Talk has hosted an annual Christmas card exchange.
I would love to host this exchange this year!
People who'd like to participate PM me their information and we all send cards to eachother. You must send cards to *everyone* on your list. Postage has become a bit spendy so please make sure you can commit to sending to each and every member before you sign up. There are some Pet Talkers who do not live in the U.S. therefor postage will be a bit higher when sending out your cards to these people. This really is a lot of fun! It is a great delight to receive cards from fellow members. A lot of people include pictures of their family and pets. It's fun to decorate the house in cards from fellow pet lovers across the world.

If you would like to participate please PM (private message) me the following information no later than Nov.25th:

Your Pet Talk user name
Your full name and address
Your family and pet names if you would like them to be included on the card

After I have received everyone's information I will send a list out via PM to you so you know who you have to send to. You *must* send to each and every member. Please do not just pick your favorite pet talkers and leave the rest out. If you wish to do this you should PM your buddies and arrange this amongst yourself.

***As a general rule you must be an active member here for at least 3 months in order to participate. ***

I will update the list of participants in this first post so check back often to see who's signed up!

I've been waiting until the last minute to see about this as funds are tight this year & we have 2 more cats. 1 just neutered & another still to be spayed. I will let you know for sure in the next few days. There aren't too many folks signed up right now so if the numbers don't take off in the next few days I will sign on as well. Don't want to sign up if I can't do it. Just wouldn't be fair so we are gonna wait to see how many other sign up before the 13th.

Hopefully many people are just waiting to see how many will sign up before they decide to. I know that many people just can't afford things that they used to due to the poor economy.

We moved in May, and are going to be moving again, and originally it was going to happen in November, but we have now postponed it until after January 1st, so I wasn't certain what address I would have people send cards to! This event seems nicely organized and done. Thanks so much for going to the trouble to keep this exchange going. I know some people cannot afford to send cards. It varies from year to year for me. This year I have lots of time to fill out and send the cards. That has not been true in previous years.

And....... I SO admire those folks who have multiple doggies and get them all to look soooo cute in pictures.....I am not that talented...... It's Wednesday and after 2 days of long computer work h*** I haven't been anywhere near the place - or anywhere else crucial!

:love:I didn't keep track of the number I should have received, but do know that the cards I received were fun to read and were appreciated. I hope everyone received my cards. It seems that the cards going outside the states, were late, late, late. I suppose they should have gone in the mail sooner! Sorry about that. I thought I gave plenty of time for their arrival.
