Went on a drive to see the changing leaves the other day and thought I'd share the pictures. Lighting was less than ideal but I got some decent ones I suppose. And, yeah, we saw a moose!! I had never seen one before. It was just sitting near a ski lift at a ski resort. Really neat.

EDIT: I did resize them, give them an hour and they'll go smaller so you can see them better.

Wow, was the moose really black like that? I am jealous, there are plenty of moose in northern New England, even some in Massachusetts, but I have never managed to see one in person!

Karen, yeah, he was black/darkbrown.

Alyssa are you wanting to move to Utah? Or just this area? If you come visit, we have to meet up!

Thanks for comments!

I've been narrowing it down to Florida, Colorado, Utah, Washington State, and Wyoming. My major is a big thing up there career-wise so it'd be awesome. I would LOVE to just visit though, that'd be the coolest thing! I apparently went to Colorado when I was 2 but I don't remember ANY of it which sucks! My parents think I'm crazy as I look up Real-estate in Wyoming/Colorado/FL often. LOL

Even though I currently live in the ,ugh, city I'm a mountain kid at heart. Your pictures are absolutely beautiful and caused a little LES because that is such a better place to be! I hope to retire sometime within the next 2 years and be in the Catskills or Rockies full time.

I can't thank you enough for sharing your awesome experience, for me it was a little vacation in my mind!

These are so pretty! I love the moose. I'm going to have to take a drive to my dad's house and get some pictures of the leaves changing colors there (he lives in a state park).

Wow, I wish I was brave enough to move to a random state without family or anything!! All the ones you listed are beautiful. I went to Seattle once, it was amazing there! I will probably have to move eventually, because there are no nursing jobs in Utah. My bf wants to move to Dallas eventually (he has family there), so that's an option I suppose.

Wow! i didn't think that would be a moose. At first I thought it was mule/donkey type animal, and then after reading Karen's comment....I was like..wait...wha?!!? :p

Wow! Awesome photos!! :D
