Today workers started to tear down the beloved Civic Arena today. It lost its fight to become an historic landmark because of politics and money. It's sad to see it come down after being home to the Pittsburgh Penguins for fifty years. The Igloo won't be part of the Pittsburgh skyline anymore. The process will take awhile and it will be completely down by next may.
