We've worked too hard to let this Judge do what he damn well pleases. I hope you'll sign it.

Here's the link to the story.

The more pressure you put on the judge short of impeachment is liable to have a different outcome than you intend......

Signed with great pleasure! This guy should NOT be on the bench!!! Groucho wants to know if they accept paw prints on the petition, he wants to sign too for all his fellow pets in bad situations. Groucho says EVERY pet should be a PT pet.

Who assigned this judge? Is he elected or appointed? Were there stricter options within the bounds of the law? How much leeway is a judge given in these cases?

If the system is at fault, you should work on changing that, instead of targeting one judge in particular, as it will not help anything just to annoy this one guy, who will still be on the bench and able to get other cases involving animals, and will then be prejudiced against all these people who are attacking him ... vicious cycle.

Karen,

The Honorable Barbara Quinn is in charge of all the judges in the State. The Legislators are the ones who "appoint" them.

Karen,

The Honorable Barbara Quinn is in charge of all the judges in the State. The Legislators are the ones who "appoint" them.

So a better approach would be to not only write her, but write - and encourage other Connecticut residents - to the Legislator about this. Your votes elect these people, and they are far more concerned about what the public thinks of them than judges.
