Today was the third consecutive day of Cassie's leash training. It was raining for about a week after the storm, so it was impossible to train her very well.
I now go to my old elementary school to train her! It has a big field, and I go when there are no kids, few cars, and so much less distraction than my dog-heavy neighborhood. We train for 30 minutes, which is about how long her attention span is.
I bring cut up, tiny bits of steak and hot dog to motivate her, since (picky girl) dog treats don't always work, though Meat always does.
I run her around the field a few times to get her calmer, as the first day I came she was very anxious. Now she is getting used to it! I even got her to play a little during a break, which she would never normally do in public.

She is responding so well to the training, and I am so proud of my Cass!
