Some new pictures of Luna

I know I haven't posted any pics of her for a long time. I really have to admit that it's easier to photograph Lily; but today, I took a few pictures of Luna that seemed to have captured her "essence"... I need to apologize for the blur and the grain, I used a wide aperture and high ISO to avoid flash 'cause flash always makes her face look somewhat strange, not like herself.

I can still see a lot of the kitten she once was when I look into her big soulful eyes here...

She's so beautiful and the blur doesn't bother me at all. I think it enhances her beauty. It puts the focus on Luna.

This is called narrow depth of field, right? It's been a while for me. Something I plan to take up again when I retire.

And these should be in a magazine, along with many of your other pix and art.

Love the gold background, compliments her coat color and her eyes very well. She is gorgeous and if those pictures deserve an apology, I don't know what mine deserve. :D

Yes, exactly, narrow depth of field; and I usually love to work with that one, but here, it's a bit too much. :) I mean, the focus is on her eyes which is okay, but mouth and whiskers are already outside DoF. Anyway, I had no other choice unless I had used flash, otherwise the exposure time would have been too long, and then the entire picture would have been blurry.



I just wish Kirsten, that I could take as wonderful Photos of My Found Cats as you do of Lily and Luna .

Gary, if I wasn't so far away, I would come over and take pics of all your Found Cats! :-)
