http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiwakey18.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiwakey19.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiscooty67.jpgHeidi getting up today and on her morning scoot.Heidi went to Mom's bedroom after being out and she jumped up on the bed.After this,she rolls around on the carpet and waits for me to have cereal and gets up with me and looks outside.She then starts looking st me and jumping st me and in the chair also kissing me ,wanting a walk so went on the walk.Heidi first met a Shih Tzu and Black Lab/Collie mix,then was happy to see a school crossing guard then a teenage girl smiled at her,also saw two people sitting on a porch was happy to see them.She had a drink once home,brought her down here then I went and cut Helen Depew's lawn.After getting back and getting cleaned up,we went to Wal Mart,Heidi was down her waiting for us to return.Heidi had her Iams bones for a lunch snack,snoozed and played fetch,had hwr super a little after 2,has played some more since supper,had her bones and
water tonight,is now resting beside the chair,Mom went to the Orono Fair tonight with Madlyn Wilcox who is 86 and also goes to our church.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiwakey20.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiscooty68.jpgHeidi waking up this morning,cage is crooked again and on her morning scoot.She first met a Pug on her walk,then met the school crossing guard and got a belly rub,then we met a lady pushing a stroller with another kid walking,the child in the stroller cried something awful,was afraid of Heidi,Heidi wouldn't hurt anyone.This morning,Heidi had a little play then was after me for a walk,so went on the walk.I brought hewr4 down here after getting back,i cut our lawn and hosed off the front step,Larry is going to paint it tomorrow,it was cracking bad so really needs it.right now,Heidi having a snooze behind,we are having French Fries for supper from the chip truck,we are going to the concert at 7,should take us 15-20 minutes to get there and find a place ot park,Heidi will stay down here.After the concert,we have to go and let Shannon's dog Buster out,she works late when something is going on at the arena.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiwakey25.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiscooty73.jpgHeidi gettign up today an d on her Wednesday morning scoot.She was bugging me for the walk after breakfast by sitting and looking st me and then up on the chair kissing me.We first met a Sealyham Terrier,another little dog,may have been a kind of Terrier,was blind and a Black Pug,saw a lot of kids heading to school.Today,she spent a lot of time down here either playing or snoozing,was out a few times,had her Iams bones and water for lunch,she was snoozing this afternoon when I asked her about supper so went and got it and she had ,we had Mini Pizzas for supper,she stayed down here.She had her evening snack,had a play,snoozed over by Mom,now behind me snoozing,almost bed time.

Hi Pretty Girl!!!! You're looking as cute as ever and you really are making alot of friends. No wonder. Who could resist that adorable face and little fluffy body?
I saw an ad in our paper about a little baby Bichon for sale. I couldn't stop thinking Fritzie might have led me there. I wanted to get a little buddy for D and D but I know I'm not up up training a puppy right now. Such a cute little pupster!! Maybe after my surgery has finally been scheduled and long over, we can think about it again. :) :) :)

I sure enjoy reading about Heidi & her daily life. She sure gets out there & meets people along with their dogs on her walks. She is a sweetheart. :)

Heidi came back down where,played a bit,mom turned on the fireplace m,she sat and stared at it,played fetch some more,is now snoozing beside me.She will go to Mom when I go up for a bath and I will bring Iams bones and water.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiflipsy1.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidibones1.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidifootsy1.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiscooty88.jpgHeidi Wednesday afternoon flipped over ,playing with the yellow rubber bone,sitting behind the chair with the two bones,last night ,head resting on Mom's foot amnd on her morning walk today.I took her after I di Helen Depew's lawn,had rain overnight and was too wet.Heidi met 3 dogs, 2 were a Scottish Terrier and Yorkshire Terrier,not sure of the third,the Scottish Terrier Ben was fine with her,the lady said the Yorkie doesn't like other dogs,got a little snappy,got a belly rub form one lady.A little later on,she saw an older man by the hospital and got a belly rub from him.Before the walk, there was truck going around cleaning the catch basins and ans it uses a vacuum to clean it and it made an awful noise Heidi didn't like,had her tail down and he was scared,going out back didn't help.She stayed down here,played and rested.She had her lunch snack of Iams bones,had supper after 1 this afternoon,Mom was out to lunch at the Mandarin Restaurant in Oshawa with 2 ladies from church,had Chinese food,tomorrow has to serve lunch after a funeral.Tonight,Heidi had her bones after we came back from Wal Mart,I had the neighbor's lawn across the street to do.She has played a bit tonight,has looked for any crumbs she may find,been out twice,now snoozing behind,soon will be bed time.

Hi Heidi! You are just so cute. I love the pictures of you playing upside down. So funny. Reminds me of Fritzie of course.:) I can tell you really love your walkies don't you?
Mom looks fantastic. She looks younger every day.
I saw a show on Animal Planet the other night about puppies like Heidi(Can't spell it). They were cute but not as cute as Heidi. I was thinking about her.

I'm pretty sure I'll have surgery on Nov. 8th. That's how it's looking right now.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiwakey43.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiscootin3.jpgHeidi in a hurry to get out this morning and on her walk today.Heidi now has the habit at night to be carried to bed instead of walking herself,may be picking up habits from Fritz.After her breakfast,she had her roll on the carpet,had a play with the rubber boned.Heidi then came down here,Mom went to a breakfast at Orono United Church.Heidi and I later went out for a walk and was a cold and windy one,43 degrees,felt colder with the wind,my hands were cold.Heidi met a pal today ,Scamper,a Lhasa Apso/Jack Russell mix.Scamper wanted nothing to do with Heidi,he is a older dog,he was trying to get away from her.Heidi had a drink after getting back,brought her down here and I cut our grass,started cloudy,cold and windy then the sun came out,I had on a winter coat and work gloves.After this,she rested down here,around 1:30 had her supper,played some fetch.We went to Kelsey's for supper,we each had Clubhouse Wrap,I also had Caesar Salad,Mom had Broccoli Soup,shared Apple Crumble for dessert.Tonight,Heidi had her snack of bones and water,been out,played some fetch with me,now snoozing with her toys.

Uh oh Heidi. Scamper sounds like he's on a different agenda little girl. Don't worry, Heidi, he'll come around. I love the pic that looks like you're winking at us. Such a little sweetie pie. http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiwakey69.jpgHeidi in a big hurry to get out of her cage this morning.She then went to Mom's room to greet her then went out the kitchen and came in the living room to wait for me to eat cereal.She sat with Mom on the couch then I took her downstairs,had plays of fetch and rested.It rained overnight and was wet ,rainy and windy today,drizzling now so now walk today.She had her snack at ,lunch of Milkbones, then had supper we had Caulifiower Soup for supper.She has had a play after supper,now over with mom chewing on the Yellow bone.I am going to a hockey game tonight,the Eagles are playing the Port Perry Mojacks,hope it goes better tonight,Sunday night,the Eagles lost 7-3 to the Mojacks in Port Perry,they are 2-7 and last in the 6 team league,all teams make the playoffs,season goes until February 5,2012 then the playoffs beginning a few days after that.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/girlflip2.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/fireheidi36.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/fireheidi37.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6///1/1133242/mommyheidi1.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidilauren.jpgHeidi flipped over down here Tuesday morning then a few minutes later staring at the fire,Heidi this morning on Mom's and with Lauren on the couch.Lauren and her Dad Jason came for a visit,we were getting a new water heater installed,our old one had rust on the bottom and was 17 years old.Jason is moving his Auto Trim shop a few units down,more room,been doing construction there over the holidays,they move in on February 1st.Lauren has sure grown since we lat saw her in November of 2008,they were at our Santa Claus Parade,she is 11 and is grade 6,she showed us the cell phone she got at Christmas,knows Santa is not real anymore,she wants to be a Lawyer,that will take a University education and Law School,loves playing soccer,not so good on skates,Jason was the same way.She is going on a trip to Quebec later in the month,probably a class thing.Heidi had a groom job yesterday,The groomer Michelle brought her home,she was working half a day and going to visit her grandmother,so dropped her off,Heidi rode in a cage.She greeted Jason and Lauren,gave them licks,they are used tot it,they have a 4 year old Golden Retriever Reese,he does the same thing.Jason said they have had groomer in a van come around their street and does grooming from the back of a van,all set up for it.Heidi growled a little when they were here to put in the hot water heater,have played a bit with her today,she as snoozing with me and now over on mom's lap.I think my cold is getting better,mom got Robitussin and some Advil Flu/Cold pills,I was cold and and coughing,went to bed around 9:30.She doesn't understand what is wrong with me,never been sick since she has been here,she still wants to play,I try to oblige her.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidibuddy1.jpgHeidi on Thursday evening keeping me company.I am still not feeling the best,stuffed head,coughing,have a sore chest,Heidi knows I am not 100% she stays close to me when i am on the couch.This afternoon,is a dinner for my Uncle's 80th birthday,i am not up to it,I don't want to get into a couching fit there and give it to someone else so will stay home.I have played with her when I can,there are times when I am feeling pretty good like last night and now this morning,get into a coughing fit and not so great.Most nights this week,I have wore sweatshirt and a tshirt to bed to stay warm,been cold.This I the longest period for a cold that I have had since December 26th, I missed a hockey game,probably tomorrow as well,church also.today is like a spring day around 40 degrees,been great to take Heidi for a walk,haven't taken her on one in 2 weeks,hopefully will get over this soon,really frustrating trying to shake this.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidibuddy5.jpgHeidi curled up by the chair last night.Heidi has been been good keeping me company upstairs and down here when I sit on the couch.We have had some plays of fetch,that makes her happy.Heidi is now curled up beside the chair behind me.I didn't cough so bad last night while sleeping but when I got up I did,getting frustrated with this,Heidi doesn't like me coughing.Mom has gone out to play cards,probably 11:00 p.m. before she is back.It has rained all day,I went out for the first time in awhile since this cold started,had a check to cash at the bank,my legs have weak from not using them the past 2 weeks or so and i get tired from just walking upstairs,this getting better.Supposed to get a little snow tomorrow,about an inch,hope,I can't handle any more than that with the way I have been feeling.I have been taking cough candies and Buckley's in caplet for,hope it helps,still have a stuffed up nose.

Getting some snow tonight,not a whole lot. Heidi likes the snow,after she was sick,she went out and got her face in the snow to clean it.

Heidi was in her cage and Taffy here when we went to church,didn't want a mess.Taffy has a hard time getting around,her back end isn't good,sometimes one paw drags on the ground and going upstairs today,she git stuck going up with mom and needed my help. The Eagles won on Wednesday 5-2 over Uxbridge and won in 3 straight games and now play the Little Britain Merchants in the next round which starts there Wednesday night at 8.Heidi has had her play tonight and is snoozing on the floor,for now,Taffy is on the couch snoozing,may got for a wander later and get Heidi after her again.

Heidi has her routine of sitting with me after breakfast and looking outside,have a play iwith her new toy a red bone,comes down here and snoozes,has her snacks of Iams bones,then supper around 2,goes to mom when I go to the tub,give her a snack when i come back down,has a play with her toys then settles down.Right now,is snoozing in the chair as I type this,mom going to do Meals on Wheels,my uncle's operation is now tomorrow,it was cancelled yesterday,there was another emergency,he is first on the list tomorrow at 7 a.m.the Eagles made it to the League final against the Lakefield Chiefs,they beat Little Britain on Saturday 2-1 with 16 seconds left,won the series in 7,the final starts tonight in Lakefield,game 2 is Saturday night here,then Sunday afternoon there then Tuesday back here..

I was at my mom and dad's in Berwyn yesterday. It was so nice out that a lot of people were out with their dogs. I saw one of their neighbors from a couple of blocks down walking his daughter's Shih Tzu! She was so cute and I thought of Barry and Heidi :)

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/scooterheidi26.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/snoozinheidi2.jpgHeidi on her walk Monday morning,saw kids in the school yard at the Catholic school and Heidi last night snoozing on the couch,followed me over when went over.We had our walk today,thought I got a picture,turned ou tI had it on a video setting,hope I can figure out to get it on here.Didn't do the walk until this afternoon after supper,really foggy this morning,with the unseasonably mild weather we are getting,tomorrow to be in the mid 70's.Heidi saw my sister today,she was a little excited to see her,peed on the kitchen floor.She loves going out on the patio to wander,she hears kids at a neighbors jumping in a trampoline,she starts barking.She had her snacks of Iams bones,cuddled with Mom tonight and is now under my chair.Tomorrow is Shannon's birthday going out somewhere for supper,also tomorrow is game 1 of the Provincial Junior C Quarterfinal series between the Clarington Eagles and the Campbellford Rebels.

So many great pictures, Barry!! Heidi is a little cutup all right. She's so cute chewing on her red bone. I love the pics of her on her back. I can't stop smiling at her. Mom looks fantastic!!

Hey, I just left Petsmart about half an hour ago. In line in front of me was a lady with a dog who looked a very lot like... Heidi! You know I was smiling and thinking of Barry and Heidi. He came right up to greet me. He was white with black spots and a tail not quite as fluffy as Heidi's. What a cutie!

Heidi wandering around the patio Monday and today on her walk,got a belly rub from the school crossing guard,then met a Black Pug,the Pug didn't like Heidi kissing ,then met another little dog,dog is old,12 and I think is blind.Heidi just had her snack of Iams bones,had a drink anmd was out,now sitting in the chair.These pictures were taken with my new camera a Sony Cybershot DSC-WX7,I won a Future Shop $250 gift card,I picked winners form curling games and I was 1 of 2 people randomly selected,have good luck winning gift cards.
