"WARNING! - WalMart sells a rawhide-like chew called Exer-Hide -
it has caused MAJOR seizures & death; it's manufactured in Brazil.
Problems are ongoing since Dec-2010, yet the crap is still being sold.
One client gave one to 3 of her dogs - one died, one almost died
& the third was very lucky. Please pass this info on!
They're also available at Asda." :--(

I found lots of info using Google, and NO recalls, as yet.

4PetsOnline has made an official complaint / report to the FDA.

Meanwhile, spread the word to all your family and friend dog owners.

Unfortunately Sandie, nothing will be done by those who sell this product, until the FDA issues a recall.

Glad I never buy anything for pets anywhere but at the pet stores and I always check it out first.
Makes you wonder how much the company really cares about dogs when they don't yank that off the shelves with at least an apology.

I bought one of these rawhides on a whim for Autumn a few weeks ago and she had the runs for a week! We blamed it on the lamb and rice formula my mom was giving her when she dogsat (same brand I give but a different flavor). Luckily I bought a 3 inch bone and she's a 45 pound dog. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Never again will she get this brand! I'll be sure to help spread the word.
