Ehm, this is actually something I promised her a long time ago, and now I finally did it.
I have this really high closet in my bedroom, and she always dreamt of getting up there. Soon after she moved in 8 years ago, she managed to jump onto it, using my stereo as a platform, but since this closet has a height of at least 2 meters, I thought it would be too risky, and I blocked the "entrance" (the left upper edge) with a cardboard. Looked ugly, but kept Lily away for years - she never got over it.
Too make a long story short: Last week, one edge of the cardboard became loose, and she managed somehow get around this barrier, and I found her on the top of the closet. She was proud - but had no idea how to come down! She even tried to jump the long way down to the floor, which worried me a lot because I was afraid she would hurt herself, so I better rescued her. Needless to say, it was time for actions.
Next way was straight to the hardware store, where I got everything for the shelf I planned to build for her; some new deco stuff included, to make it look nice. In fact, I think it's looking much nicer now, and Lily is happy. :)
