I still can't believe that it's been two years ago today that I 've started living at Concordia! When I first came here, I was like how was I ever going to fit in here with all these older people? Now I think I've fitted in very well, and most of the "older people" here I count as as some of my best friends. The staff is great and I can still pretty much take care of my own needs. I have a super great roommate by the name of Barry who is a little younger than me, but we share a few interests, (like cars & girls!). All in all, I've become a Concordianite!!

Oh, that's wonderful, David. Congratulations! Isn't that just great to be HOME!

I thought you, and your fellow Concordians, might get a chuckle from this item from a retirement community in Grand Rapids, MI:

Thanks for the link. However when I tried it, it came up "page not found". I'll try it later and maybe I'll get it then.

Sorry about the bad link, David. I just now tried it, and it didn't work for me either.

Here's another one in which it does work: http://www.mlive.com/news/grand-rapids/index.ssf/2011/07/clark_retirement_seniors_debut.html

The video itself is about halfway down in this article about it. It's not as large as the other one, but it does work!

I posted about this on PT in July, when I first found out about it: http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?t=168693&highlight=grand+rapids

I hope you enjoy it. Perhaps it will give you some ideas for fun times at Concordia!
