Puzzle w/ answer missing!

Someone submitted this puzzle to the local senior center: You can make ONE word with all these letters:

A B S T A L L O F

He lost the answer, and doesn't remember what the word is. :eek:

Not to be picky but it's two words, " a softball". I wondered if I should post my observation since I do not have a solution, and I have tried. :)

Okay, I jsut did some research and found the anagram solver (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/adam.bozon/anagramsolver.htm) and entered the letters. The two highest scoring words were softball and fastball but no nine letter words.

So kudos to Karen and perhaps the puzzle creator/submitter got part of the instructions wrong? Just a guess.
