My boyfriend and I took in a stray puppy in April.. Little did we know he was going to be a small horse in just 4 short months. A friend of ours was getting off the interstate and this little guy was sitting in the off ramp.... needless to say with him being a dog lover himself (has 5 dogs) he couldn't keep him and wanted to find him a good loving home... and he found himself here =) we are kind of tossing up a few ideas. Our friend thought he knew the neighbor of where Peyton came from and if that is so he would be an American Bulldog/Huskie mix... which I can see... but with further research online, looking at pictures/videos... we think he might actually be a Great Dane/German Shephard mix. He is a crazy dog, loooves to run around and play, is definetly a puppy still because he chews up everything. He is just now getting his big dog teeth in and his testicles haven't dropped all the way. Hes very loveable and sometimes I feel he needs more attention than we can give him because we work full time jobs but different shifts. What do you think??

I definitely see the Great Dane in him - with the smooth coat and the size of those paws! I don't see Shepherd, or even Husky in his coat, but there's obviously something else in there to give him that coloring AND the ears that are having a tendency to be up ears! Maybe Dane, Lab, and mystery?

I would absolutely plan on having a 100-pound baby, but just train him right now on walking on a leash without pulling, and how to NOT jump on people ("4 on the floor!"), and you'll have a great dog on your hands, no matter what size he ends up to be!

He may be Pit Bull/Great Dane. He is super cute.

This is Karmella she is an American Pit Bull Terrier at the shelter where I work, she is roughly 50 lbs. full grown though at 4 years and definately does not have dane in her. She is all APBT. :)

He reminds me of my friend's greyhound. Greyhounds aren't too common as strays though. Since labs are the most common breed all over there is a great chance there's some lab in there.
