The Devil just called our local weatherman. He wants his weather back. Our weatherman told him: fine we are sick of it anyway!!!! This is per our weatherman just a few minutes ago.:D

Our temp today is to be 110 actual temp. He would only say the heat index would be over 115. Going to be the hottest day since 1954 or maybe even hotter. :(

My sympathies. C'mon up! It "only" 89 here! That's hot for us, but I haven't left the apartment, we keep the shades down during the day, and don't even need the AC on.

At 1:18PM here in Dallas, it's 107. It only really bothers me if I'm not hydrated.

88*F here in Ohio. I hate it! Ready for fall! ;)

Thankfully we haven't yet gone to triple digit temps. July in S.E. Michigan was the HOTTEST month since they started recording weather statistics. Not just the hottest July, the hottest month - period.

Last summer we might have had the AC on during parts of 3 days - now we're heading into the 3rd or 4th week of constant AC.

I HATE it  Can't wait until the middle of January.

Today feels pretty good here in DE - 90 but low humidity so it's not at all uncomfortable. Tomorrow is showers (we need RAIN!) and around 80 - then upper 80's to low 90's after that. We've been very hot and humid this summer, but still not as bad as it was last year. The a.c. runs and runs and runs - had it off for a couple of days in mid June, but no rest for it since then. We usually have to run it thru at least mid Sept, and sometimes longer. Can't wait till sweatshirt weather gets here! :D

I have always loved winter. People never understood why. I think this year might make a few like the cold a bit more.
It's hot, sticky and disgusting here in Ohio.
Waiting for the rain.
I feel for all of you with the double digits.
Please please please leave out bowls of water for the birds, buns, frogs, butterflies, squrrials and all many of small creatures.
I fill mine daily with ice cubes.

Same here. I think we're into the 4th week of constant running AC. I hate
to even think about the next electric bill.

Not as hot here as some have had. Today was 95 degrees and feels like
at 105 degrees.

I think we reached 110 today. Super hot. I'm still going to the zoo with clara in the mornings, and we both sweat the whole time, but that's about the only issue. I don't really complain about the weather, regardless of the season, but we could really use the rain right now!

Nah. "Shirley" the Cavalier in the middle of the pic, hogs the fire every night now. Poor little girl hasn't long to go, so I let her be. She must be near on 14 years old now (I got her when April turned 5yo). She has cataracts in both eyes, so can hardly see, and her muscles are shot, she limps and can't run any more. So we give her lots of treats and the pick of the spot in front of the fireplace.

I'm in Iowa trying to escape the Florida heat and I'm failing miserably! Was 102 yesterday and felt like 110. Yuck!

During the heatwave last week the weatherman on our local news ran videos of one of our January blizzards. As a diehard winter lover, it was beautiful and now I can't wait for snow season!

Please everyone, care for the animals and be sure to drink plenty of water so you don't dehydrate. My doctor said if you wait until you're thirsty, it's too late.

Heavy rain last night, still pouring this morning and it was only 9 degrees. But it's gone up to 29 and still lots of humidity so it isn't too comfy. The sun keeps trying to pop out but the black clouds are winning. I think the sun will show only this evening.

I don't know how you are all coping with these high temperature which I'd find absolutely impossible. Good job I live in Seattle where we have had 78 hours of summer:

We are having the hottest summer in my memory. The weatherman is saying on average it is our hottest summer but we haven't hit double digit yet. I think we have had at least a solid month of high 90's. I'm ready for fall. You snow birds can keep your snow though. If God had intended for me to have snow, I would have been born in Minnesota.

WOM

Where were you born Bill ????

Alabam bam bama

I can count all the snowfalls, over an inch, on my fingers and toes. That only applies to my time in Alabama. I have lived in snow producing places like New York, Ohio, Rhode island, Oklahoma, and Virginia so those don't count toward my finger and toes. Vacations don't count either.:D;)

Helene our heat wave has broken. We've had rain all day and the temps are in the 70s. No more 100s or over for at least 10 days per weather channel. (or course they can always change their minds). I'm trying to fan some of this weather down your way.

Guess the devil really did want his weather back. Maybe he'll take yours next!!!
