I have a new phone. It is so complex that I need to read the phone book to learn how to use it. :D
It does everything, well not dinner or laundry.
It's a Samsung Epic 4G, it is AMAZING.
I took hubby with me because he speaks tech.
Now I just have to learn to use it.
The first time someone called me I did not know how to answer it. LOL LOL So many buttons.
What I have learned in a few short days it that one no longer types, one pecks out the lettes.
I wonder if typing like so many other skills will soon be a thing of the past.

I still have a Trac Fone. I spend about $20 every other month for minutes. It pretty much just sends and receives phone calls. :D

I debated long and hard about staying with my simple phone or upgrading and I finally decided I did not want to be out of the tech loop.
It is important for me to be updated on at least some of the new apps and programs that are available now to most people.

I had a smart phone and I decided to downgrade. My phone was smarter than I. I wouldn't use apps anyhow. I text and take an occasional photo, that's about it.

I'm with you Mary - and it's just recently that I've even started to text - and only because my new phone has a regular keyboard. ;)

I'm still in the dark ages. I don't text. I just can't bring myself to add another monthly bill to my budget. I am on a pretty tight budget anyway. I would have to get rid of my Dish Network or not eat for the month. :D

If I had to pay a regular Verizon cell bill, I wouldn't text either. I, like you, had TracFone for quite a few years, but last year jumped on my son's Verizon plan for only the price of adding another phone - which is only $10 per month. On that I get unlimited free text, so I do text occasionally now, as compared to never in the past. :)

This cracked me up. What's the use of a cell phone if you cannot figure out how to answer it?

I have a very simple phone - I can receive and make calls; no texting, no pictures, no confusion :D
