Just thought i would ask my american friends, apparently he is a well known American country singer, quite a hottie too,so he will be singing at our casino in august and i have free double passes, i am not a huge country fan, but i sure don't mind easy listening music,so if anyone has heard him, please let me know is he worth going to see, cheers.:)

I've heard of him. Seems he wrote a lot of popular songs, maybe more than he performed himself. I think he's a great singer and yes Carole, he's quite a hottie!:p

I got turned on to C&W a few years back and do enjoy listening to it when I am not in the mood for R&R.

you can listen to the songs and see what you think before you go.

Thank you all, yes i think i shall go, it is not costing me much, we might go and have an early dinner, they have really inexpensive meals, and they are not too bad either, oh yes i saw his pic, he is rather cute all right, i often go in to the bar there to have a muffin and tea, as i get special free offers now and then,on a sunday if i have been out doing some retail therapy aka as shopping and they have a country and western female singer, she is really good and a local and i enjoy the music, i am more in to Rock and pop, but i certainly find country very pleasant to listen to.

I was thinking i would go anyhow, but it is nice to hear that you have heard of him and he is good,i will go and listen to him, thanks everyone.:)

He's got a nice, easy voice. I can't remember any of his songs that I couldn't listen to. I'm not a big fan of current country music, but I like the genre well enough. Huge fan of older tunes, like Hank Williams Sr, Gene Autry . . . up to the mid 90s, like George Strait, Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks. Only one out there right now that I could say I like is Miranda Lambert.

In other words, I vote yes! Go to the show! I think you'll enjoy it. :)

Yes Kari, although not country fan, i certainly do not find it hard to listen to, infact quite soothing, it is one of my fav places to go here in my city ,and caters for the older crowd like myself, so yes i think i will go and enjoy it,if not well can always go and play the pokies or simply go home.:D
