CROSS POSTING FOR FOLKS near London, Ontario!
Pawlooza is held in London Ontario, and I think this is the 3rd annual and we attended with Max for the first time last year. It was incredible!! It is totally for charity and raises money for Animal Rescue Foundation Ontario and an employment service that works with disabled adults. There are tons of vendors, all of the animal rescue groups have booths (not just ARF) that they can set up for free, and there are lots of events that the dogs can take part in and a bunch of freebie handouts from different pet related vendors. We left early last year because it started to rain but have our fingers crossed that this year will be nice weather and we will be able to explore the whole event.
They estimate 15,000 people and 4,000 dogs will attend. yahoo
I know there are a number of Ontario members but you are not all close at hand to London but thought I'd post this lots in advance in case anyone was thinking about a road trip. Would love to meet up with anyone who does make it down.
