Dogs Deserve Better has been trying to no avail to help Cookie live out the remainder of her life in better circumstances. They have enlisted the help of the mayor and the police. They already have a foster home lined up for her, but the pastor is not budging. He has even threatened them. They are now asking for the public's help.
