The "circles" on Google+ are the Google answer to social networking like Facebook, but Google+ also lets you very simply mark sites you like with a "+1" kind of similar to a Facebook "like" button.

It is in its beta right now, so still experimental, I guess!

My son sent me an invite - I haven't looked at it yet. He seems to like it. He's administrator of a forum and says that so many people there have dropped FB and gone with Google+ now. It sure took off like wildfire since it was introduced. If it doesn't have all the negative issues that FB seems to have, then I'll probably give it a shot. :)

Nothing I have seen said they were "worried" about it, it was just an interesting piece of data. It's still in Beta, and by invitation only, so the membership is obviously going to be geek-skewed for the time being!

And I post that statement as an admitted geek who is most assuredly female.

One +1 of Google+ over Facebook is you can share or post to different circles rather then everybody. I can share with both off roading groups or just one, or I can share to both Pet groups or just one. You can stream to every circle or some or just one. It has "hangouts" for video chats.

I had to update my browser to Explorer 8 to get linked to it. I downloaded 8 a couple of nights ago....and ohhh...big problems. So I got rid of it.
I may try some of the other browsers they suggest, some time.

Yes, that's what happened to me, it just froze all of the time.
Firefox was one of the four they suggested on Google, so I may give that a try tonight, but not right now, I've just been sanding gyprock and I look like a ghost. If I'm caught, I'm dead meat. Have to wipe off the white dust on the keyboard right now......hee hee....bye. :D
