Still trying to think of a name for her. I like Bailey, but my boyfriend says it's too common and he doesn't like it because of that. Also thinking Jade (cause of her eyes) I was trying to think of other green names lol. What do you like better?

Also is it normal for an 8 week old pup to drink a lot and pee a lot? I'm calling the vet tomorrow to have a check up. But it would give me peace of mind if it's sorta a normal thing for pups.

Oh my gosh, what a cutie!!!:love:She's adorable! Congrats! Yes a puppy will drink and pee a lot. You'll have to take her outside frequently to house break her. Of course she still needs to see the vet, to start out on the right foot.:)

I take her out every hour unless she's sleeping. Sometimes she will pee 3-5 times in 20 minutes.

OHHHHHHH My! Is she full Lab. Sweet, adorable...I'm in love.

How about Bianca. I don't know where it came from, it just came to me.

She is precious! I have known a lot of labs named Bailey, it's a cute name but very common. If she pees 3-5 times in 20 minutes, I really don't think that is normal. How much water is she drinking? She could have a urinary tract infection also. Good you're making a vet appt. :) Did you get her from the shelter?

Verde is green, and not a common name, and Zelen is green in Bulgarian. Peridot and Malachite are green stones - Peri for short, and there's always Emerald ...

She is gorgeous! What a sweetie. What about Spring for a name? Young, green, full of promise.

She drinks a lot. The first day she did the "pee 3-5 times in 20 mins" thing. the second day she was fine. And today she is back to peeing/drinking a lot. I was told she is purebred but I have no papers. Doesn't matter to me though. :) Thanks for the comments

I don't know about the peeing thing but oh yes it doesn't matter if she is purebred or not.

Congrats!!! She sure is a cutie pie.:) I hope that everything goes well with her vet visit. Good luck with naming her. I like the name Jade.:) Fern would be cute too. Here's a website that may you help you too: http://www.thinkbabynames.com/search/0/green.

She is soooo adorable! Congrats on the sweet new addition.

I love the name Jade! Or how about Emerald, like Karen suggested, but calling her Emmy for short?

I keep thinking her name should be Caramel! She's the color of butterscotch or caramel candies!

Oh My, She is BEAUTIFUL, such an adorable puppy. She looks so sweet and pretty. As far as her name, I like Jade and Bailey. I dont know about her peeing so often but I am glad you're taking her to vet to be checked out. She is precious. I do recall that when my LilGirl was a puppy she peed often. I dont know about Annie because she was grown when she came here. I wish many happy healthy years for you and your new sweetie. Kay in NC

What a sweet little bundle of cute! I'd guess 80% lab and 5% spaniel, 5% beagle, and 10% pittie; but as you said, it doesn't matter. I hope her health is ok.

She is so adorable!! :D
I like the name Jade, but I'd change up the spelling to Jayde, or even without the e, Jayd.

Thanks :D We named her Clover. Mostly because when we first got her she started eating them and I jokingly said "we should name her Clover" I really liked Bailey but we felt it was too common and wanted something a little different.

Vet said she was in good health, but she had a urinary tract infection which is now being treated. She's due for her second shots in a few weeks so I'll be able to make sure the UTI is gone by then :D

I really wish her eyes wouldn't change color when she gets older. I love them! Have any of you ever seen a green eyes lab that is an adult?

She is SOOOOOO cute! Awww!

My boyfriend's pup Luna, is a light colored Pittie mix. Her eyes were exactly that color when she was a puppy, and they are now a really pretty amber color.

Love the name!

I have never seen green eyes in a Lab. Hope they stay that color. Very unique.

She needs a green collar and/or a green bandana. :)

Someone told me she's a dudley, a chocolate lab with a yellow coat. Chocos commonly have green eyes as pups and change as they grow.

Okay, that explains it. I am not up on my Labrador information since I no longer have them. I just Googled and read up on it. I love her Dudley coloring! :)

The dudley theory might explain her brown nose, which should be black on a yellow. However, it looks like she almost has an underbite, I was going to say that she looks even more pittie to me than the first pictures.

I doubt she has pit bull in her honestly, all I see is lab no other breeds. :) Doesn't matter though.. she is beautiful and the OP loves her dearly I am sure. :D

She looks all lab to me too....and she's absolutely adorable. I  her eyes! I've seen yellow labs with the brown/red noses quite a bit it's not unheard of I don't think I've seen any adults with the green eyes though.

all lab to me too.. reminds me of Luka.. aww..

dudley labs are yellow labs with brown or pinkish noses.. more like washed out..

Clover is very cute!!..

Lukaīs eyes are amber.. still very cute..you can look for .sarah pics.. yes, itīs a dot before the name.. she has Luka, Nova, Buck and Mandy..

The real tell between a yellow lab with a "snow nose" and a dudley is the lack of black pigmentation around the eyes and lips. A puppy this young would not be a case of snow nose. A dudley really should not have any pigmentation on the foot pads, eyelids, mouth, or nose. This pup really isn't a true dudley, but a lot of people call liver pigmentation on a yellow a dudley.

What a beautiful Lab! Goodness. I should've prepared myself before I saw the pictures! Strikin' green eyes. I love it. My boyfriend and I plan on getting a Lab once we get a house eventually - I'll have to do my research into what coat colors they have in that breed now.
