Contessa, who will be called Tessa.;) I adopted her today from a rescue. She's had a rough life so far and I'm praying things will work out. From what I was told she was a TNR case and was pregnant. After the babies found homes she was supposed to be released. A woman left her in a room with little attention instead of releasing her and she ended up in rescue. She has been in rescue since 4-10.:( She's around three years old.

She's very scared, so don't expect too many pics any time soon as I don't want to scare her more.

Sana, I was stratching her ears when she was in the carrier but probably couldn't pet her or pick her up now. Trying not to stress her out. She isn't too upset when I'm near her but seems to be on guard.

This sounds very promising.:) It took Ziggy several years before she really felt comfortable and part of the family and she wasn't even a feral cat. Good luck.:)

I was petting Tessa twice today and she will come up near me to get treats. I'm taking it slow but am sure she will come around. She was adopted once but the lady brought her back after a week and a half because she kept hiding. The rescue TOLD her she wasn't gonna be a lap kitty for a long time if ever!:rolleyes:
