I never realized how personable guinea pigs could be until I saw the video of Xander on Pet of the Day on July 8. I just searched YouTube for Guinea pig videos and found this cute one:

They are definitely so personable and much smarter than many people give them credit for. Someone on a guinea pig board that I read sometimes, has one that knows how to do agility. She made him a little miniature guinea pig agility course, and that guinea pig will run the course, including jumping over the little pole!
