The CAHS has never had to put cats to sleep due to overcrowding - but they will have to start soon! :-( :-(

Please put the word out, please adopt - there are kittens, special needs, seniors, inseparable pairs!

Barn cats - which were moved over from the regular list at a reduced price to find them homes!

 Aweee they are all so Adorable.. Now what we do around here sometimes is Market a Special Weekend for Each Baby to be Half Price && or if we get enough Money from Sponsers then we have a Free Adoption Day.. I know you have to get money back into the funds somehow && thats why you need to try for $$ Sponsers.. Good Luck..

Helene - the HS just had a whole week of special events - speed dating for dogs, and extra hours open, and there are deals to fit any budget! They often have people that donate the cost of the adoption for someone that would be a good owner but doesn't quite have the funds. (Queen of Poop helped with my adoption of Zoe, for which I am still SO grateful! QOP is Zoe's godmother! :) )

Normally the events work out so well...this time, the dogs benefitted, but the cats not so much.

I feel just sick...am praying and posting everywhere I can.

Tonight I talked to a friend who volunteers at the HS - and four more kitties were adopted, including a special needs girl who has been there FOREVER!

Keep them PT prayers coming!:)

Oh, I do hope all these lovely cats will be adopted - it's heartbreaking to know they are sitting in an overcrowded shelter. :(

Sending positive thoughts to them all.

The CAHS website was updated Saturday...with the long weekend, they were only open the one day. Hopefully there will be an update tomorrow on their site, with more adoptions showing! I think as long as the adoption is steady, and no more pets are dumped  they will not euthanise. The CAHS does everything to avoid that due to simple overcrowding.
