Which Pettalker has the most pets? [Archive]

I am just curious who here on Pet Talk has more pets than anyone else. If you have 10 or more pets please post here and tell me what you have. I am also curious who has the most of one type such as most dogs (is it you Mugsy?), the most cats (is it you Jenluckenback?) etc. I think Luckies4me once said she had over 50 pets total! So Luckie please post here what you have and how many of each.:D

If I lived at home with my parents still I think we would be up for most pets (they live on a ranch so it's not too fair).
We have 2 cows
16 lambs
Around 35 rabbits
7 dogs
6 cats
7 chickens
The number of dogs and cats always changes, we had lots of people just dump them at our place.

But here in Az I just have 2 cats

Floppsy, yes fish count too, I figured they are the easiest to have the most of.:)
Uabassoon, that is a lot of rabbits! I guess its true what they say about them being good at multiplying!:) Your parents may have the most of rabbits and animals total too!

I think I have a lot, but it is only seven. All their pictures in my signature. My BF wants to get an aquarium someday, then my numbers will go up.

7 cats here. one fish. thats it! I know theres members with alot more pets than me. but hey I have adopted 6 cats this year, Im getting there LOL:eek:

So far Uabassoon's family ranch is ahead of everyone in all categories except cats. 73 pets total is a lot!
Other top numbers so far are
Jenluckenback with 11 cats and 17 mice
lv4dogs with 13 rats
and Rottieluvr with 12 fish

I know there are more of you out there with more pets! How about the most birds or horses or anything else?

Don't know if she has more or less now. I think someone else had a whole lot of rescues, too. Bari_d has a lot of cats, dogs, deer, etc., etc.

Didn't I see someone post they had 28 cats? Where'd the post go? Am I going senile? Argggggghhhhhh!!!!

Well...I only have 8 as you can see in my sig...5 ferrets and 3 cats. Possibly 6 ferts if my cousin decides she doesn't want to care for hers anymore. That would leave me with 3 male ferts and 3 female ferts and would then leave the kitties unbalenced gender wise, so I'd have to get another female kitty to make it an even 10 with 3 male ferrets, 3 female ferrets, 2 male cats and 2 female cats. :)

Anywhooo, just 8 for now but if I keep going at my current rate of expansion (6 critters this year, mostly rescues, and the year isn't over yet!) who knows how many I'll have by next year at this time. Especially since I graduate from college in May(FINALLY!) and will hopefully get a job paying more than what I'm making now. And we all know we'd have as many as stretched fianances will allow, soooo....Joey just better get used to me having a zoo and us buying a big house! :)

3 guinea pigs
4 gerbils

and several exotic and wildlife rehabs: skunk, possum, owls etc.

And hey! That's all in one house!:eek: :D

Do you think I am insane? hehe I wish I could have more. I am thinking of getting a friend for my hedghog. Probably a snowflake hedgie. I think he's lonely by himself. I took some pictures of him too! Want to see?:D

I am impressed! If you get 3 more you would be tied with Uabassoon's family ranch! (They could be small ones:) ) You are definitely tops with rats-41 wow! Photos of any would be great especially the more exotic ones. Have any of them been pet of the day yet?

Iceyshiver, you have quite a bunch too! But how do you own 1/2 a dog? Do you co-own it or share custody?

I think I beat everyone for the most pets in one house! Hey don't temp me to get more, hehe. knowing me I'll go do that.

No, none of my animals have been pet of the day yet.:( I submitted my cats almost a year ago and they never got chosen. Do you think it's because I had a copyright on the picture? No body ever contacted me. :(

I will start a new thread today and show tons of pics of my animals. Even the exotic ones. I should probably intoduce you guys to my dogs Tess and Wolfy too, lol. It just hit me now! Only a few of my pets have been introduced to Pet Talk. Poor babies.I will have to go make it up to them. I will post the pics today so stay tuned for some really cute critters.

Chinadoll, yes you do have the most ferrets and I think they are all so cute!:)

Luckies, yes you seem to have the most house pets since Uabassoon's are mostly farm animals and not in the house.

Iceyshiver, you have the most pheasants, you may be the only one here who has any!

Mike and I have 18 dogs as of last week. Baby is the latest but the day we picked her up, Mike tried to pick up two wandering pups. They were not coming near tigger so we only have 18. Is the prize more dogs. (just don't tell mike, OK) who am I kidding if we needed more to win he would drive around and find them. :D :rolleyes:

It's sad that is is so easy to find dogs in need to a home :(

I know. It is very sad that people abandone (sp?) pets. Iused to go look for unwanted animals all the time, that is how I got into rescue work. I mostly do exotics now but I wouldn't hesitate at all to bring home a big furry!:)
