Well well well... I'm back :)

I've been MIA for quite some time now, haven't I?

I started back up with college in July of 2010. I am attending a new university that opened up near me and I am studying to get my Associate's in Veterinary Technology. Hopefully in about a year, I will be a Vet Tech!

I still have my beautiful lab mix, Sydney who will be 3 in August (pics will be at the end), my lovely DLH Bella, who will be 4 in October, and our newest addition, Finnigan, our 4 month old mutt. I'll be taking guesses as to what two breeds he is ;)

I have been in a relationship with my boyfriend for 10 amazing months now, and I haven't been happier. Things are still rocky with my mom and even with my dad. I'm learning to distance myself from the situations and live my life how I want it.

I'm still pretty passionate about my photography, although with work and school, I don't have much time for it right now. I am still working full-time as a dog groomer, and I love it.

So how have you guys been? :)

Congrats on your college progress. I am glad to hear you are happy and have a boyfriend. And yeah, sometimes you have to distance yourself from the bad stuff and move on.

Glad you stopped by, and it sounds like things are going well! Is the boyfriend also a dog lover, we hope?

Such good news about college, the world can always use more good hearted Pet Talk vet techs! You'll also have to tell your dog grooming customers about Dog of the Day! After all, I am sure they look their spiffiest once you're done with them!

Finn does have Springer in him, but not Cocker... Any other guesses on the last breed? I'll give you a hint - he has back dewclaws :)

Boyfriend is DEFINITELY a dog lover! At the end of March, we took the three dogs (at the time he had a shepherd mix and an aussie, and I only had Syd) to a local river, and his dogs got loose and jumped in and got swept away by the current. We haven't seen them since, and can only assume the worst. His Rott pup has helped him and his son heal a lot, so she is very loved!

WHEW ---

What chaos! Boyfriend and I have moved into an apartment together. We're taking it slow - letting his 3 year old adjust to me slowly. Bringing the dogs in slowly too - having three of them in a small space like that makes it difficult! So they get a lot of running time. We take them hiking at least twice a week, otherwise they go to the dog park.

Picked up a second job, and taking a quarter off from school to help get us on our feet. Working as much as I can to help out my little family :)

Finn has SPROUTED - for lack of better terms! He's getting TALL! 6 months old and the apple of my eye, ;)
