Shaving cats

I have three long haired boys. Usually I take them to the groomer twice a year and have them done. It gets costly so I was wondering if anyone clips their own cats and if you can recommand a good clipper?

I used to shave my old cat myself. I just used the el-cheapo Wahl (I think) clippers that were about 20 bucks at Walmart at the time. I don't think they were even really "pet" clippers. It didn't look as good as a groomer job but Montego wasn't all that great at grooming himself and was a lot more comfy without all of that fur. It definitely helped with his hairball problem.

I had to trim Mister Fluffy especially behind the tail as his poo will stick there.
I wondered at forst why he was a PU Cat!!!:confused:
