I was inspired to make a needlework portrait of Trixie

Here's the photo I referenced:

The finished needlework:

The back (for those who want to see the back of someone's work ;))

It took me a month to design and stitch. Thanks sana for inspiring me!

WOW! That is amazing! So close to the picture! I am so jealous. I can cross stitch, but I certainly can't create something like that from a picture! WOOOOOWWWWW! Great work Catnapper! :D

Yes, what Pat said!

Be sure to add your signature (name, initials, something) and date it. You can have it mounted and framed -- non glare glass is best. WOW what a unique treasure!

BEAUTIFUL! You are very talented. That would have taken me ten years! LOL! I used to cross stitch but I'm blind as a bat now so I'm knitting instead. Great piece! Thanks for sharing!

That's gorgeous! How long did you have to block it for to remove the bias? (one reason I prefer to do cross-stitch!)

I'd definitely have it framed!

My grandma taught me how to cross stitch and I haven't done it for years but after seen your beautiful work I'm starting to consider it again...

Congrats!
